i think the latest few version of tb has this support. check their changelog and see...iirc only in the last 5 version or so. but bear in mind, some of your apps may not be fully compatible with froyo.

btw, after flashing my firmware to the latest 1, previously using JF4, now seems like camera unable to disable the shutter sound. anyone facing this ?

what's the latest 1 that u r using? JM1? currently i'm on JPC and the disable shutter sound is still there in the option..

As for the shutter sound, u can disable them in the camera settings, the 2nd tab (the spana icon).

I've found a way to change the calendar sound. but need to root and use root explorer to replace a sound file.

I still dunno how to set the default calendar to google calendar. there's once i've done it accidentally but it reverted back to 'my calendar' after i reboot my phone.

Contact picture, i tried add in the phone and sync to google email contact. Only info sync, picture so not sync.
But, if i added the picture in google email contact, it sync to the phone. Anyone know how to sync both ways? so i can add pictures on the spot in the phone.

I am not sure the exact problem you have, but let me guess. You have sync your outlook calendar to google calendar using google calendar sync. Then sync the calendar items to your SGS. when you open the calendar item on your SGS, you cannot edit them. Am i right?

I have this problem. the solution is, I DELETE all calendar item sync from outlook and RECREATE them directly on google calendar. Everything works fine and i can edit calendar on my SGS.

I set calendar reminder as "pop-up" reminder and it sync OK. Even events created using my SGS will be transfered to google calendar.


edit: make sure you choose "Google calendar" when you create an event in SGS. Do not choose the default "My Calendar".
