For one, you can start to delete off those unnecessary apps that come preloaded. I already deleted daily briefing, buddies, whatever clocks that came with it.

I think they can settle it with a licensing agreement, which was the actual intention, but somehow I think talks broke down.

Oracle wants google to be their new sugar mama, the cash cow bonanza.

But for some reason I don't think this will be an issue, look at the MS-HTC lawsuit?
End up HTC just pay royalties, but their phones still quite competitively priced.

What firmware are you on?

JG4 had some issues, like when loading engadget or facebook widget, the screen gets really choppy.

JG8 seems better with this regards.

You can also download android system info, it gives a comprehensive rundown on all your system stats which you pretty much can't find on other apps out there. Or at least free apps out there.

Depends totally on your usage.
If you constantly switch on the screen, then of course will last far less than someone who doesn't turn on the screen as often.

Navigation will give you turn by turn, maps is just maps.
Both are linked though.

Same method.
Root + titanium backup to uninstall the app.

I installed all, using euro. That one is what i was looking for, I like the default font, but it was too big, euro does it for me.

Yup, holding menu will bring out quick search.

3. outlook to kies or using google contacts will do

Using ringdroid, you can crop the exact section to use as your ringtone/notification tone.

Turn off both bluetooth.

Turn on SGS bluetooth and set to discoverable

Turn on headset, then put it on scan mode

If the headset doesn't auto request connection to the phone, do a scan on the phone.

The SGS will detect, if you don't follow this steps the system won't detect.

Means not rooted I guess. :s
To get superuser app, do the update.zip method of rooting.

Takes about 1 minute from phone off to phone on.
