Real Vietnamese food? I'm game.

BTW, have to tried testing it out on your local friends first? Some food taste different from the original country's simply because locals dislike the taste of the original.

Nationality is not a problem if the chef is train & skilled in the cuisine. btw u just insulted tons of chefs tongue.gif

anyway you should find a trustable local partner, you do the cooking and they do the management.

Go for NON HALAL

vietnamese food has pork. Its not fitting for muslims.

Added on August 9, 2010, 6:21 pmTo get halal certification, you're adding more COSTS into your operations.

SO AVOID!

The most authentic vietnamese food i've tried (away from vietnam) was in melbourne, where there's a lot of vietnamese there.

The beef and rice noodles are awesome.

For legal matters, talk to a company secretary to form a private limited company and get necessary licenses and inocculations for food handling.

Its a business. All businesses has to be registered.

Sole proprietary business is the easiest (which i used when i first startup my own biz) which can be done online. But for foreigners, need more process.

In your case, its best to go for private limited business (Sdn Bhd or sendirian berhad). This is because when people get food poisoning (worse case scenario), and you got sued, your personal liabilities are limited...so you don't go broke and live on the streets.

Its to safeguard yourself and your assets.
