If you use chipping solutions like Ventura where it is obvious there is a chip connected to the ECU of course VW will see it.

The ones done by APR or the Custom one by Exotic Mods are direct porting or flashing your actual car chip so there are no connections needed at all. Just go nego with them, that if ever the case that VW service center wipes it out, they will just plug in the engine map again. To them its basically just connecting a PC and remaping the ECU. Only difference is that APR is more expensive than the Exotic Mods one but ABT is still the most expensive.   

1 RON is not going to make too much of a difference. Usually the difference is around 1% per RON level but all that depends on how the ECU is tuned. However if you pump in RON 95, you might feel the difference as the stock ECU might detune more just to ensure the safety of the engine.

Guys,

if you are going to do any sorta mods like remaps, suspension, engine related, just forget about your warranty, dont be a wuss.

Mod = no more warranty, dont need to kpkb.

Its a safety feature on VW's, you can always overide the lock by manually opening the door. If you do not want that, just turn on childlock, its on your door frame

so how much to tint huper optik for a car size like golf ?

Btw,i dunno bout the price for rcd510 but i was thnking it will be in the region of 3000++ which really make me think twice bout buying  . Dats why if i can get sumthing with my desired function cheaper. Why not?altho mebbe i cant enjoy the MFD And steering control anymore but i thnk i can live wit dat.

Ehem..im actually one of the crazy ones who dun care bout pushing my monthly budget to the limit jus to get a dream car. Mos ppl wud say "better buy house laaa" but im one who trust the motto "enjoy now,suffer later"  so dats why mos of the time im in budget mode.

Enough bout the sad story. Anyway, i was thinking dat since we are already tampering with the system anyway,does it matter what kind of audio unit we use? (rcd510 or other brands). It will still involve opening and fixing back the casing if dat can be considered to void the warranty

My POLO is fine. The only thing i notice is, i can see water in the Front Lamp, after heavy rain... Do you have this problem... Is this what it actually designed for water to slip through....

Polo's 1200cc turbo equivalent to 2000cc is being overrated...
I would say horsepower wise, polo's 1.2 (105PS) is on par toyota vios 1.5 (109PS)
Torque wise polo 1.2 equivalent to honda civic 1.8 (polo's torque is even better than civic because polo can reach max torque 175Nm @ 1550-4100rpm while civic max torque 174Nm only @ 4300rpm.. early torque translate to better pickup and some how translate to better fuel efficiency as well).

The 7 speed DSG is also another big highlight of VW vehicle.. the dual-cluth allow seamless gear change and you wont feel (or minimal) gear shift jerk in between gear change.. fast gear shifting reduce torque loss during gear change.. more gears allows your car to choose the more appropriate gear ratio at different speed and different driving situation.. overall better fuel efficiency because you have more gear ratio for different driving condition, lesser torque loss during gear change, and better acceleration bcos of seamless gear shift and lower torque loss..

So Miss, now you see the wonder of the polo, small but powerful, fast pickup, great fuel efficiency (award winning car), and the pride of owning a VW.. we havent even start talking about the good handling of the German car.. that will be another long story..

Polo 1.2 is overrated.
If you want to experience power in a Polo,you can try Polo GTI....1.8T is real good,to make it better,you can always chip it.Then you'll get around 180-200bhp,depend on which chip you're getting.
The 1.2T is as good as 1.6 NA,IMHO...

Guys,whenever I turn the steering of my polo when stationary,the headlamp will turn dimmer and quickly back to normal again,is this normal?

You can set the height of ur headlights?  

The door seal issue is not so serious yet for me. I just wax them from time to time. The power is good.. but no chance to use it, cars are everywhere...
