QUOTE(futobuta @ Jan 11 2011, 12:25 AM) If you're not used to that kinda power, I suggest u take it easy. The car can handle that kinda power, but our 'uncle' reflexes might not be ready for it. That's why I drove cautiously for 1 month before slowly pushing the car. Added on January 11, 2011, 12:27 amYeah, I thought our headlights are auto-leveling. haha i was referring to >silenced's question on polo

QUOTE(ultimax5 @ Jan 11 2011, 12:58 AM) My Polo does it too...I don't think it's a problem. I initially suspected that it was adaptive headlights, but I doubt it's a feature on the Polo. Had something weird happen today, turned my engine off after I parked and then decided to repark, so I turned it back on and turned the A/C on, hot air (and I mean HOT air) started blowing, like the heater was set. The temp was only set at 22 degrees...but after I turned the A/C off and back on, it was fine. Also got a rattle that sounds like it's coming from the dashboard/engine compartment on idle...brought it to the service center, they kept the car for a day and told me that they can't fix the problem, something to do with the turbocharger. I read about some owners in Australia who had rattling sounds with their Polos and the fix was to reroute some of the piping in the engine bay. Anyone else experienced the rattling sound? Not a perfect car, but I still love it! open quote: Multiple pipes underbonnet and fuel lines noisy, roadtested vehicle with customer and confirmed presence of noises. Traced noise to fuel pipes rattling in chassis rail, removed pipes and insulated with foam, tested, noise now gone. Traced other noise to L/H/F chassis rail holder/clip adrift that holds P.A.S pipes. Refitted clip correctly, tested, noise now gone. Heard another noise, traced this noise to air coupipe rattling against chassis rail on R/H/S manovered pipe away from chassis, no noise evident now. close quote that was fixed by the SC in australia for the polo TSI

QUOTE(dasauto @ Jan 19 2011, 12:19 AM) Whatever you mean, it is highly unlikely to bring in a TSI engine for CKD, so polo sedan kick polo 1.2 ass ? well we will just wait and see... I am looking forward to the jetta tho, if they ckd that with a TSI engine like the model in Sg, I will buy one tomorrow!! 1.4 TSI DSG or 1.4 TSI sport drool..drool....I will buy one of each.......blehh to the 1.6 one....lets see sell my house..my dog.....what else could I mortgage? LOL Yes the 1.4 TSI sport has nice specs in Singa-land , looks and performs too . Might be a hit here too if they bring it ....

QUOTE(Arawin92 @ Feb 22 2011, 08:53 PM) guys polo 1.2 tsi the FC for practical city usage is how good? like hw many KM/L? im thinking of this car.its as powerfull as a civic, lower cc and better fuel consumtion...kinda too good to believe...any downside for this car compared to lancer 2.0 or civic 1.8...other then looks and a little top speed diff... Pls help me to compare...thanks guys. why some people dont buy it... size size size there 3 reasons...... but on why you should buy it....not enough space to list it out here the FC is 500++ - 600 km per tank city use...highway use ...1000km ++ per tank...for illustration....kl to penang and back to kl less than half tank...then continue to singapore and back still got 1/8th left haven't tried it with the golf yet...
