Just pumped in Ron 95, still can't tell or feel the difference. Gonna stick with Ron 95 for the mean time to see overall usage.

Plan to remap the car as well in about a couple of months time (probably after 10-12k).

Btw, for those who cannot tahan, APR is now having their winter sales whistling.gif whistling.gif

Go contact them and see what they have, if I am not mistaken, for the Golf 1.4, if you do the remap with them, it will come with extra, Stock Map, Ron 95 Map, Ron 97 map and all of these can be controlled via the cruise control stalk drool.gif drool.gif

Yeah warranty will be voided. Estimated price its best to give Karl a call and talk to him. Not too sure about the price for the Audi A4.

Anyone know roughly the price of 1.4 tsi golf together with discount? sad.gif

Depends on how many cars are you getting and how close you are to your sales agent. Without the light and sound package it is RM146k+ (excluding insurance). If you can negotiate well you might get 1-2% discount or free two service.

im sorry , but whats the light and sound package do? lol...

how much if with this package?

should wait for 9th gen civic or ..? LOL...
*
The light and sound package includes the following,

Bi-xenon headlights for high and low beam with integrated turn
signal indicator
• Cornering light system: static and dynamic bending
• Dynamic headlight-range adjustment
• Front fog lights
• Headlight cleaning system
• MEDIA-IN USB/iPod media interface

Check this site out for more information.

With the light and sound package included, the price is RM156k (excluding insurance). So if you can get 2% discount then its RM3k savings for you.

The 9th Gen Civic will be out in 2012, also different price range as well for the car.

If I am not mistaken, only the front passengers can open the door from inside even if the door is locked.

hrm no idea on that, because most of the time I am always driving the car alone so never faced that.

I am guessing that you don't want your kids to open the door whilst you are driving is it?

How to turn on the headlight washing btw, I only can turn on d wiper's one
*
Hrm, that also I am not too sure because mine was already turned on autmatically. The moment I select the windscreen wash, it shoots out from the front.

So many mixed advices.... I also dunno who to listen to. My Japanese car owner frens all recommend me to change at 1k...... some driving mx5 and other high revving cars like that. But the sales rep and technician at the VW service centre INSISTED that there is no such need. So I should listen to him. But there always this fear that I might regret not changing earlier.
*
Bro, you are comparing apples and oranges when comparing Japanese cars and your VW GTI man. wink.gif

Most VW GTI owners will tell you no need to change at 1k mileage. At most, go check and change at 5k.

But if you got $$$ to splash, go ahead and change it at 1k, no one at the SC will stop you tongue.gif

Usually how much per engine oil change ah? 500?
*
Depends on how much oil the GTI engine needs. If I am not mistaken it could be around 4.5 litres.

i think 5k km is reasonable la.. heard from a apr tuner said the stage 1 on 1.4tsi its like GTI spec.. the torque is amazing.  drool.gif  drool.gif
*
Yeah, APR is having their year end sales now. That is why I am very tempted to get it.

APR tuned will bring it to 205bhp and APR is also the safest one. Plenty of other tuners around as well to consider tongue.gif

Most expensive is ABT which at their store at Glenmarie will set me back around 8k sad.gif

Those seems like the more obvious differences. Because other accessories might defer compared to the ones brought in here.

E.g. Golf TSI elsewhere has electric seats, leather seats and ACC as options whereelse the one here in Malaysia does not have those.

Mavik, regarding the RCD 510 how is the quality of the Bluetooth integration kit in terms of call quality? E.g Speaking with the other person can they hear you clearly? Any echos? My brother's Kenwood BT kits suffers that problem.
*
I don't have the BT integration kit but you can check with jwrc here. He has it installed and he can probably give you a real life demo if you meet up with him.

Not to mention his name, I respect his seniority in the industry anyway. Just a little cowboy I felt, "new rules, extra inspection, next week, next next week..."  rclxub.gif

After a little pushing, he finally got back with my Chassic number. Just dont understand why it takes so difficult for them to get back!!

You should be able to see the light very very soon! Had the same feeling as you when my SA pushed the car delivery date previously as well. But the longer I wait, the more special it became when I collected it whistling.gif whistling.gif whistling.gif
