1.5 Swift Driver here,
Remember don't get first batch CKD swift around 2007,as they tried to cut cost by using alot more local parts,end up issue with steering rack. Normal service without include engine oil around RM80(Labour + service replacement parts) |

I am too young to drive, but the car that i ususally ride in is a early 2008 Swift 1.5 pre-facelift (lights and bumper are different), meaning that it looks like the imported model but is CKD. I am a car nut (and a computer geek, thats why i joined LYN) and I am quite informative about cars. My Swift has some rattles here and there and the rear legroom is just acceptable (I am nearly 6 ft tall). It will be the car that i will drive when I get a license in few months. I like it though. For your notice, the car that the Swift replaced is an Waja Campro without IAFM and CPS. The Proton really felt underpowered because I always heard the engine straining when it hits 4k rpm.
