and the heat issue, IMHO i feel that flash is one of the causes..Whenever i open flash game, it increase..Just my 2 cents. Chill..

There is no perfect notebook. To me the poorer build just means I have to take better care. The vaio is infact a very good notebook except it run windows 7 as I am basically on macs.

im not a mac user, but still, as far as i know, mac os wont be affect by most of the existing virus (perhaps all)... correct me if im wrong...

However you can install it in the Windows OS ( if you have installed  it) on the Mac.

You can use your present Windows Norton ONLY in Windows OS. So if you want to use it, installed example  Windows 7 on your Mac via another interface - bootcamp, or VMWare Fusion or Parallel. Then you have dual boot system in your MAC.  As far as I know Norton doesn't have any anti viruius solution for MAC OSX. Infact there are very few such solutions. You can google for Mac anti-virus  software if you really need it

rundll only affect windows (since windows use DLL files). Don't think you're infected with viruses from windows.

Ah man... Just arrived Sydney for vacation and drop my old trusty Macbook and the LCD broke....
Went by the apple store but the stuff here is so much more expensive after converting to RM....

Just noticed that arranging a return for my MBA late 2010 is a pain in the ass..

Call dem 3 times already and they said they will liase with DHL for pick up. Til now.. no news=.="

Sent my MBP last Monday to VR Tech and was told that it will be ready by Friday .. no call from them, so I called them up today .. and guess what, the girl who picked the phone said that the could only checked my MBP on Friday (I've told them that it needs HD replacement on Monday when I sent the MBP).. and she told me that it will take another week or so for the HD to be sent to Singapore and the replacement to be sent back to VR Tech. Adoi.... but she gave me a solution, get myself a new HD first, they'll replace the HD with mine.. and when the replacement HD arrive, they'll call me up to pickup the HD. So, got myself a 500GB Hitachi 7200rpm and will go down to YKS tomorrow .. 30 mins was the time I was told for them to replace the HD. The girl said they're outnumbered by number of repairs need to be done.. I wonder how bad Apple products now when it will take them more than a week to get fixed (and me w/o the MBP).
