Just upgrade my gpu ...now play in ultra mode...

Guys.can someone recommend the lowest end gfx card that would let u play in ultra setting?my gt9600 is giving me lots of problem.tq.

Mine is also running on full ultra without lag. But I feel my proc is bottle necking things.

hi guys, my rig as follows mostly medium settings, with some lag in huge army battles, i wanna know if i upgrade my gc to GTX250 / 460 or 5770 issit sufficient? can the proc handle it?

That GPU could go Medium at most. Based on experience.

Nvidias new batch of GPUs should be better than the ATI equivalent. Maybe go for the 240 or 260? Dont know the cost tho.

Not sure about price dropping, because price for techs usually drops everyday/week.

I got my rig about 3k - 3.2k. not very sure coz i didnt sum up my whole bill. too bz starcraft now

there is a 1 rare occasion where my fps will drop 1fps... where the screen is totally filled with units. madness. @_@

I have been booted out of the game for a gazillion time. Think its da issue with the gfx overheating but its still the same after i apply the fps fix.

Rig banyak power....lol

Going back to my hometown next week so gonna play Starcraft 2 on my sister's PC!

How high can i set the setting to? Should i bring back my HD5750 if that makes any difference?

so you could as well follow my spec here,
Really satisfied with the rig coz can play Full Ultra

Mobo:GIGABYTE H55M-UD2H
Proc:Core i5 760
Ram:2GB DDR3 1333mhz
hardisk 500GB
PSU:Gigabyte Supreme 700 watt
GC:NvDia GTX 260

Grand total is RM 1650(including Acer 20 inch lcd)

2GB is barely enough nowadays, try to get another 2GB to make it 2x2GB

Now try lower all the details and play again.

yeah thinking of upgrading to 4gb ram
