CM690 Chasis
Zantec 750 Power Supply
ASUS ATI 5850HD DDR5 1GB
4 GB DDR3 RAM
Core I5 2.88ghz on GiGabyte (Insert Random Code here) <-- cant remember that shit.. hahah
Windows 7 64 bit

Ultra Settings, 1600x900
Graphics Settings (Windows) - High Quality
Direct X 11

Run smoothly with no issues.

Notable difference from Win XP SP3 - Graphics & loading times are almost halved.

I also noticed that SC2 takes up loads of ram, up to 1.7 gb in long periods of time. (8 hours of gameplay)
I started noticing lag/crashes after 10-12 hrs, notably because google chrome does the same thing over time. (was running a 4gb transfer and google chrome on youtube at the same time - oops!)
A simple restart of the program fixes the issue.

hmm, i'd suggest an upgrade to win 7. other than that, all i can say is, unless you have an alienware laptop, laptops aren't meant for games anyway biggrin.gif

That GPU could go Medium at most. Based on experience.

Nvidias new batch of GPUs should be better than the ATI equivalent. Maybe go for the 240 or 260? Dont know the cost tho.
