Ouroboros finale is going to make everyone cry their hearts out, or maybe not, depending how much you're attached to the characters. I did shed some tears, nevertheless. Just FYI, the manga itself is not completed so obviously the screenwriter didn't follow the manga's ending, now people are curious how the manga author will end the story.

On the other hand, I'm glad with how Mondai no Aru Restaurant ended. God, I love this show so much. When I first started, I thought the first episode was really confusing and I might not continue but after ep2-3, I knew for sure, this is going to be one of my favourite dramas this season. It won over Ouroboros personally for me.

I have yet to finish Date, Ryuusei Wagon and Ghost Writer (this drama is kinda slow though. However, the soundtrack is really good). I'm going to drop Zannen na Otto even though I like Tamaki Hiroshi. I might go back to it in the future.

For this season, the only crime drama I'm following is Tenshi to Akuma (a combination of smart lawyer who is assisting the police). It's not bad, I kinda like it so far.

Funny how Mother Game ended up as my favorite drama of the season. I love everything about it even though it's formulaic and rather generic. However, the charming points are the characters, especially lead role played by Kimura Fumino. It's her first lead role and she rocked it. The show's quite balanced too with comedy, some touching moments and overall gives a refreshing feel. It's got good messages that I think every parent, especially mothers should learn from. Background music is great (theme song by Superfly). The camerawork is awesome, slow-motions and bokeh focusing. Colours are bright and it just makes you feel happy laugh.gif The kids are cute, especially the one who plays Haruto (lead character's son) wub.gif

Tennou no Ryouriban is also highly recommended. If you're into food and history of the Emperor's Cook, give this a shot. Also prepare tissues. I think I cried for more than 5 episodes already. Quite refreshing to see Sato Takeru play this kind of role biggrin.gif

I'm halfway through I'm Home. It feels lacking and if it's not for the purpose of knowing the secrets and the cause of the accident, I don't think I'd even finish this. The lighting is dark and gloomy also that it makes me sleepy after a while yawn.gif The masks are still creeping me out.

Watched first ep of Dr Rintaro and a bit underwhelmed. Maybe I expected too much since it's got Sakai Masato. I will continue when I feel like it. It's a pity how both dramas with high profile actors (Takuya Kimura + Sakai Masato) are not up to the expectation sweat.gif

Ishitachi Renai Jijou is boring. I'm only forcing myself to watch it for certain characters who I want to know the ending of. They're sadly, not any of the lead characters. I'm more interested in the minor characters for this show.

My Watch list for the season:

Tantei no Tantei - Want to see Keiko kick ass.
37.5 no Namida - Since I loved Mother Game last season, thought this might be nice too.
Shimeshi - only 4 eps and one of a kind drama with delicious food to see. Some eps made me cry.gif
Ishi no Mayu - WOWOW drama always delivers so I have quite high expectation and want to see more of Kimura Fumino (she was amazing in Mother Game).

Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san - Ramen otaku Koizumi is really fun to watch.

This smile of hers laugh.gif

The world premier was held couple of days ago in Hollywood so first reviews are already out from people lucky enough to watch it. Based on the review, fans of both Eren and Mikasa especially might be devastated as their characters have different backstory as compared to the original manga/anime adaptation. Mikasa seems to suffer the most so if you're watching the movie wanting to see her badassery, you might be left disappointed. Hanji and Sasha though are depicted very well and closely to their original versions.

Take a look at the reviews below but beware of spoilers.

Ishi no Mayu (WOWOW drama) new 60sec trailer. It's getting my hopes up with each new trailer. They better not pull a MOZU here coz MOZU had great cast which were mostly wasted with a poorly written plot. Anyways, I can't wait for this! Fumino Kimura in her first detective role biggrin.gif
