Yes, it's a new drama, will start airing on the 16th January. Starring Oguri Shun, Ikuta Toma and Ueno Juri. It's called Ouroboros, based on a popular manga with the same name. It's basically a detective drama with revenge as the backstory. Both Oguri Shun and Ikuta Toma are childhood friends and they witnessed the murder of their beloved teacher when they were kids, they believed it's someone within the police force. So Ikuta Toma's character joined the police while Oguri Shun joined the yakuza. They keep in touch and try to find out the culprit. Ueno Juri plays Ikuta Toma's colleague as his buddy in the police force. According to Ikuta Toma in an interview, there'll be romance involved between him and her but it might have a sad ending.

I read the manga a while ago and actually there's not much romance at all, just hints here and there so I think we can expect them to change the plot a bit for the drama.

Any site can streaming HD quality Jdrama, a lot of K-Drama streaming site with HD but i didn't find the same for Jdrama.

I want to find a drama in d-addicts, after browse through it then only I know they have close the "ahem" section!!

Currently watching these few dramas for the season.

Ouroboros - Pretty good so far, quality is within my expectation. People die in it and a lot too so that's a plus. Shock factors are doing this show well for now. As for the characters, Ikuta Toma seems to fit the role very well, the same can be said of Oguri Shun. Ueno Juri is still warming up to the role I believe as the impression I'm getting from the first episode isn't as good yet. Then again, the character given to her doesn't have anything challenging at the moment so it doesn't make her stand out yet (we have to remember she's not the main character in this show).

Zannen na Otto - the first half of 1st episode was draggy and boring. Thankfully the pace picked up in the second half so I'll keep watching. Tamaki Hiroshi playing a dad is quite fun to watch and the chemistry with Kurashina Kana is refreshing. Though Tamaki's best chemistry is still none other than with Ueno Juri in Nodame imho.

Gakkou no Kaidan - Typical high school drama where the rich bullies the poor. The only good thing in this show is Kamiki Ryunosuke. No, seriously...if there's one thing I love about this show is his character only. He's really the only thing worth watching.

Mondai no Aru Restaurant - Now this involves too many characters which I don't really care about and the first episode is a bit messy with lots of flashbacks. People might get confused when everything and everyone was being introduced all at once with their backstory shoved right at you. I like Yoko Maki as an actress but I'm so used to seeing her in a calm/cool roles that this energetic character is a bit too new for me. Well if anything, Ken Yasuda deserves an applause for cross-dressing as a female in this show, he's really good. The 'nude apology' scene though is a bit too dramatic for my liking I thought that was a bit too much

Gonna try out Masshiro, Ryusei no Wagon and Ghost Writer soon.

Mondai no Aru Restaurant - It's a comedy about social stigma, gender inequality, and how the girls who hate each other work together in a restaurant to compete with the other male dominated restaurant. It's a really good cast ensemble and since Sakamoto Yuji is the screenwriter, you're bound to get lengthy scripts but so many meaningful quotes, eye-opening scenes that will for sure touch your heart. This is my favourite drama for this season.





Ouroboros - Trailing not far behind, this is my bias for the season. Cast include Ikuta Toma, Oguri Shun and Ueno Juri. Not to be missed imo.


DATE - Comedy about two very awkward people going on dates. It's really funny.


Other series I'm following but not quite sure whether I'd recommend yet are Ryuusei Wagon and Ghost Writer.

I've also started WOWOW drama - Garasu no Ashi. It's got only 5 episodes and currently up to ep2 or 3. Still not subbed. But I've watched the first 2 episodes, I will definitely finish this. Aibu Saki plays a dark protagonist here and she looks good in it.

You may need to register first but it's really easy and once you do that, you can access most of the dramas (just click thanks if needed to see links). There are anime and movie dl there as well as Korean/English series/movies. Can explore. I like this forum, it's an indonesian forum but they write mostly in english so no worries.

Ah you like Ueno Juri too? She's one of my fav actresses too Her role in Ouroboros is kinda small though but still worth watching hehe.
