but unfortunately they say they don't do technical part at CS branch. WTF !! mad.gif

So what the purpose of CS branch? Just accept bill payment? doh.gif

every month u need to pay that RM20

that mean RM20 x 12 month = RM240 per year

RM240 x 10 years = RM2400
*
RM2400 per user
100,000 user = RM240,000,000
Astro already can cover their investment and make a big profit

It's not too bad,  Astro doing in house broadcast for BPL this year. Now we have two sets of pundits, Astro's and ESPN's. We can watch ESPN's pre shows then switch to ASSP for the live game.
*
ASSP HD pundits make me sleepy. yawn.gif
But better than last season when we got nothing.

QUOTE(SiriuslyCold @ Aug 16 2010, 07:39 AM)
this is after 10 years

how much did it cost to put those satellites up there?
don't forget continuously paying for all those TV programmes especially latest stuff like Idol, Survivor and especially EPL (could be up to US50 mil for 3 years)

I'm not saying they are not making $... after all it's a business and if you don't want to subscribe it's your choice
*
I just calculate based on RM20 HD service with 100,000 customer. Not include with cost for whole package and number of customer.
Just imagine astro have 1 million customer and everage billed is RM70 per month

RM70 x 12 = RM840 per year
1,000,000 customer (maybe more) x RM840 = RM840,000,000 = almost 1billion per year

I know it a business but they must has a responsibility to the malaysian people. icon_rolleyes.gif

All details are inside the Asstro Byond user manual there.

I have set it long time ago since January and until now, never reset it at all, therefore, forgot all the steps already.

You follow the steps in the manual and it will automatically search for the manufacturer code, if it can and if it found.

Cheers  thumbup.gif  sweat.gif

I'm still failed to control my yammy AVR with byond remote control. Already try all number inside manual. sad.gif
