For PRE PURCHASE BAGGAGE 20KG, can the weights be separated to several bags, example 10 kg x 2 bags?
*
One person one checked in bag.
If two person, each book 15kg. Total is 30kg. As long as the two checked in bag is within that 30kg its fine.

we can remove the "select seat" and "insurance" options?
i been charge rm6 for each seat and rm18/person for insurance.

Lol.

Yes, we can remove the seat selection and insurance options.
At the seat selection page, beside the "Continue/Next" button, there's a "Remove seats" button. After removing seats and clicking continue, another box will come out asking you if you want to cancel seat selection, you should click "OK".
At the insurance page, click the "Cancel" word. A box will come up and if you have read it, you should click "cancel" to remove insurance.

i have 1 question here..
i'm looking to buy Deuter Futura Vario 50 + 10 for my trip to Sarawak..
can i bring this size of bag into the flight cabin?

i just don't want to pay for the luggage as I only want to bring 1 backpack..

the height is about 65cm..
i think the bag weight + my shirt is less than 7kg..
but just worry of the size..

The T&C quoted above.

Additional laptop bag and handbag is allowed but your cabin bag cannot exceed the dimensions and weight that they have set.

If your bag is too big, just get a smaller hand carry bag since you don't have much clothings to carry.

AA is creazy yo.  mad.gif ,there put their cabin crew to wait and boarding area to weight the hand luggage  sweat.gif ,my dad say they will not buy AA tix anymore

I don't see how is that wrong or crazy. They are just sticking strictly to their rules to ensure safety for passengers.

In fact, I would actually appreciate it if they do that. There was once I boarded a plane where there was a bunch of people (don't wanna mention from where) was carrying like 4 to 5 hand carry each person and filled up all the cabin space. Flight got delayed because of too much cabin luggage.

Yea it's nothing in between, just that it's two seaters nearer to the back of the plane, instead of 3.

I fly KL-GuangZhou on promotion around RM400, cheapest also RM300+ like that la.
Expensive depends on how you see it, are you comparing with MAS and other full service airlines or just among Airasia tickets?

Under one booking of 3 passengers (family members). Air Asia auto seat allocation intentionally separate one of us at row 26 and the remaining two at row 12.
*
It's not intentional la. Lol. It's common.

Just pay extra to buy your seats.

AA sure like you alot because you are such a good consumer. Don't mind being squeezed by AA and pay for someting your are supposely entitled foc.
Anyway, I didn't pay extra for it. The baggage drop counter staff, upgraded our 3 seats to priority red seats A,B and C after I brought up the problem to him.
*
If it's not full, can always change seats at the check in counter or move to empty seats on board the plane itself.
However, if you check in and find that the flight is full and your seats are separated, I don't think that's intentional. AA allows us to check in 2 weeks before our flight and usually when I check in earlier, I always get my seats together. Sometimes I do get separated seats and if I see the flight is almost full, I'll just pay the extra (it's just about RM6 per seat anyway) if really need to sit together. Or else just forget it, my main point is to get to my destination place only. As long as the flight is safe, I'm pretty much okay with it. biggrin.gif

But since your flight was quite empty, then yea, your should be able to get seats together. Empty flights should be more flexible. smile.gif

You should write in to AA to let them know about this issue as well. So that they can improve their services.

I flew AA from KL-CHC few days ago.
Everything went perfectly well. Book hot seats as well, very comfy. No problem or whatsoever. Overall very very satisfied with the service. smile.gif

Of course the food not that nice, but it's not a big issue. Hehe.

Was the seating the new one as described in AA's blog? The grey & red seats.
*
Where's their blog? Is it this one? http://blog.airasia.com/index.php/hot-seat...n-long-haul-air

It's the exact same seat. smile.gif I would say even more comfortable than economy seats on SIA Airbus A380 double decked (both upper and lower level) to UK I took last two years.
Mine was the one near the lavatory and can put the baby bassinet there. 17A B and C on the Airbus A330. I actually book 16 D and F and there was another guy at G but since 17 A B C was empty so I moved to the window seats. Try not to take the center ones (D F G) cause I notice people tend to keep on crossing there. The guy who sat there had to move his legs a lot of times for people to cross there.
I find the lavatory convenient. Can go anytime and especially nonit to stand there and wait when there is a lot of people.

Hi there, i have a question to ask.

Did anybody over here, travel with one hand carry bag together with one DSLR bag? because i was unsure that whether if they allow both bag to be carry up to the plane. of cos i will ensure that the weight will never exceed 7kg.

Just a normal hand carry sling bag and another DSLR bag.
Thanks for help.
*
Camera bag can be an extra. Usually most airlines will let you have a cabin luggage (max 7kg) and a handbag/DSLR bag/Laptop bag.
For your case I'm very sure they won't kacau you at all.

I carried my laptop bag weighing like 9kg plus a roller cabin bag 7k on my latest AA flight.

Hi Guys, Just wanna ask,

I did not buy the Rm25 extra check in luggage thing, how much do i have to pay at the gate if i want to bring one? My new pair of fins are larger than i expected. So it won't fit into the check in bag. If i'm allowed to carry a roller bag maybe can, anyone know the dimension allowed?
*
It would be best if you could get a bigger check in luggage bag. As long as it's below the weight limit for check in bags. I've never had a problem with my bags being too big. And my bags are super big.

Hand carry onto cabin has a weight and size limit so I'm pretty sure your fins won't be able to fit into it.

I'm not sure about the extra luggage thing but I know paying at the counter always means it's gonna be super expensive.

Aeroplane mode is ok. Just make sure you switch it to aeroplane mode BEFORE you turn your phone off during take off.
I play my iPhone on board the plane on aeroplane mode.

I'm sure the current AA thread has already mention about this. I've also mentioned about it when I flew to NZ and back.

Going that time I book Hot Seat, very comfy. They don't provide anything unless you pre-book your meals and other stuff.
Coming back I didn't book Hot Seat and just sat at the usual economy seat without paying for extra. Nothing much, just the space between seats a little smaller but almost similar to usual full airlines economy seats.

For my NZ flights, I pre-book my meals, which was around RM40 (KL-NZ) and RM70 (NZ-KL). This includes two meals on board with two bottles of water each person. You can also pre-book your in-flight entertainment and comfort set thingy. I'm not sure how much since I didn't use them. Of course you can always pay and get it on the spot but it's more expensive as usual.

If you're asking what do they provide for free? Then NOTHING, you can visit the toilet for free though. Water also have to buy.

you can try email them and see whether can change or not. I tried before and they change without extra charges

PS : Make sure you state as if it's not your fault =P
*
It depends on what ticket you got. If it's a promo one, usually you can't really make any changes without paying a fee, but if regular ones, it's more flexible.

THank you so much. I go fit it in first. My laptop bag no need put power adapter, when on can last up to 6 hours which is enough for me to do presentation. Thank you  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif but how much is the handcarry size requirement?
*
Actually, you can carry another handcarry bag. Laptop bag is not included in the handcarry limits. Even if you put your adapter and mouse into the laptop bag, they won't stop you if it's over the weight limits.

Sometimes I stuff more things into my laptop bag so that my handcarry bag is lighter.

Just make sure no water and sharp things in your bag.
