2) The option of settings on the Anti-Aliasing. Currently have to adjust from the Nvidia's own control panel.

Haha, no wonder i can not find the function to on the AA.

By the way, to set graphic to ultra, in game can do, right? No need to go Nvidia, right?

i think about 95% of the modern day games have the options to set the AA levels.
Donno why Blizzard didn't do that feature in SC2..

The most funny is when u put them on patrol mode... u can see like your units are literally `dancing` or 'spinning around'... adui

Patrol mode similar to Supreme Commander series would help a lot.

the lack of formation move spoils it la. even C&C series have already. C&C can even reverse movement.

i find the movement for SC2 primitive, really primitive. considering SupComm / C&C / RA series have been doing great improvements over movement controls for many years.

tutorial doesn't even tell you that you can waypoint when you use A or M move. i suppose P also can, i haven't try.......... but based on the tutorial, P move is just between current point and the selected point, which is pretty useless.

yes, it certainly will come but I'd like to play more first.

i like the new stuff but somehow i also like the old style, just mission after mission. a few cutscenes. spare me the conversation.

Also formation would help these stupid medics to actually stay a bit back....
Microing them each time you move is a big pain.

Then they are at the back, finally, ennemies come, start damaging few units, medics plow in the formation to go heal the unit and usually end up on the first line.

Blizz could definitely have made the units a bit smarter

Remember to click on everything within each section of the ship and also the pub in the early game.

If not you might miss out some part of the story / lore / etc.

i like to place bunkers close by, cos they can cover each other.

problem is if i put helions there, with scv around, and maybe a few spare infantry - things could get messy.

worse if firebats / marauders are standing around.

quite honestly i think sc2 units' AIs are smart enough, to the point some pros even complaining them being too smart that it is noob friendly, and or spouting nonsense like the game needs no micro anymore (lol that beng interview rolleyes.gif )

for ur medic prob: get ur medic and m+ click on 1 of ur tougher units, if you scare it dies and they stop following, shift click queue multiple follows

well, you need to micro just a lil, aye? else the game would be "too easy"

goldfries: formation move in a game like sc2 is a bit, to put it harshly "redundant" as the units' AI itself will have its own priority/targeting and even a threat based (lol WoW) movement/targeting. of course, if you just group EVERYTHING and ctrl + 1 and just play with that, i admit it is a bit retarded, but then again, you have group 1-0 for a reason aye?

of course, this is from my perspective, and i am a decent ladderer and i have also been a long time/active beta tester previously as well doing almost nothing (well i got some customs played, but thats it haha, and screw you fuj, ur custom melee map blows, WTH asteroid map) but laddering day in day out. even getting diamond.

point being, yeah i probably could not see the problems that you guys may place possibly cuz of how i play, however i am also pointing out thats also probably why blizzard is implementing their game as such.

ALL said and then, lets not forget the players (especially koreans) that prefer old school values and similarity towards SC1. in fact, look at the early days LYN "flames"/arguments about how sc2 is just sc1 in 3D wink.gif

Probably blizard purposely don't put in the formation function just to polish the players' micro skills. tongue.gif
'can waypoint when you use A or M move' what is this mean yeah?

formation does add to the game. you can choose not to use it. smile.gif

A is like M, just that they will attack any hostile.

so what you do is press either A or M, depending on your purpose. then you can shift click the locations to make it into waypoints.

very useful in missions where you control 5 groups at once.

They should mix the custom maps policy. Thanks to it, we're stuck with only a few extremely outdated custom maps.

A more meaty singleplayer story.

Currently, it's a bit too short and shallow.
