maybe the wiring for the ps2 plug i nthe cheap kb is not good.
u compare the cable for the 7G already damn thick compared to the skinny ones in cheap kbs.

can use either ps2 or usb.

i tot they did label it clearly
i tot the usb port is only for the hub
only ht ps2 is for keyboard function

i didnt say that usb was for the kb, i just showed that it has ps2 output.
that is why 7G also comes with a ps2 to usb converter if u need to use plug via usb.

compared to the blackwidow cables on the left, which is strictly usb only with no ps2.
which is needed anyway if drivers are to be used so can use macros etc.

so basically blackwidow is more of a 'gaming' keyboard than steelseries.

yea BW, very light colored gold.
the lighting plus the smudge on my 7G unused usb plug makes it look darker

watodo, 7G come out before 6Gv2...but then again i would miss the wrist rest...so 7G ftw...

u can use USB converter, but that would also mean u wont get full NKRO.
USB at most can only press 6 keys at once...

ppl like victor here who had a choice between 6gv2 or 7g still went for 7g cos of the wrist rest.
it makes typing just more comfortable.

I'm just too cheap for a 7G. Still I love my 6Gv2 just the same. Perhaps I'll get a 7G in the USA.

u borrow a 7G wrist rest from ur boss...then get one copied using plexiglass...probably be cheaper than the price difference between 6g and 7g
