btw guys, ive just flashed to leodroid 1.6 yesterday but seems like neophyte has done some optimization to his new 1.4a rom.. so tempting, downloading neophyte 1.4a now!! haha will post feedback upon the memory and battery performance, some reporting that its better than the previous.

cant be done. HTC apps and widgets only works when HTC sense is used. Which widgets ur needing btw? there r a few number of alternatives out there, but u need to purchase it such as launcherpro plus

- clock + weather = fancy widgets (no longer available in market nor paid it refrigerated HTC's design n was reported)
- calendar = pure calendar widget
- music widget im not sure.. but im using tunewiki for music playing + internet radio + lyrics.. tunewiki is 100% free

r u on rooted and custom rom? rom manager is for custom roms which is supported by rom manager btw to check for updates.. stock ROMS cant be checked using rom manager as far as i know.. u should go to settings >about phone>system software updates>check now

oh yes but whats the point being on rooted if ur not using custom rom? official froyo sense will be pumped when it is tweaked after its released. Plus, froyo a2sd is not that much helpfull, ive personally tried it but i still cant get enough space n i will run out of space after about 20apps or such. Everyone has their own opinion on this btw, so no harm at all bout being on custom rom or not

If ur rooted and on custom rom, ur not left out by the official froyo sense for desire taste btw. Just wait until its released and in a matter of days, a custom rom will be released so u dont have to risk urself updating the Hboot or such at all and u will still be rooted.

Usually the person not saying why bother to flash if froyo is officially coming is the ones not rooted yet, ur rooted and its better that u just do the next step after all.. there is still no update released yet btw... so just hold on tight or just flash to the already released custom froyo sense rom and reflash again once the official is released

learn to use ROM manager.. its very useful and easy to flash custom roms once u learned how to use it. Take note that if u flashed via OTA u might risk of getting ur Hboot updated to a higher version that 0.80 which there is no root available yet. U will have to downgrade ur hboot version via the new usb drive fix method to make urself back to rootable. I would say that u should wait for just a few days for a custom rom based on the official OTA rom. It would be much faster, more stable i must say and loaded with custom tweaks such as battery indicator and such bonus experience. Custom ROMs also comes with A2SD+ which forces apps to be installed on the SD rather than "moving" it which does not move the total or or some apps r not allowed yet to be moved. Hold on to urself cuz it might not be long. It is supposed to be today or tomorrow as we're 8hours approximately faster than UK and some european countries but dont have ur hopes too high. HTC Evo got their update already so perhaps it wont be long for AP sets desire. For Asian set (maxis set included), perhaps u guys have to wait a lil bit more unless they plan to roll out the update immediately and crash the server LOL

What do u mean by when froyo is officially out? r u mad at me and regret flashing since froyo is almost out? Its not just about paid apps (good btw, its good to support the devs ), there is more to it such as a2sd n such.

rom manager is for custom roms dude.. i guess.. u should check in the settings for offical OTA updates..

not yet, but to those rooted already, sit down and relax, in few days surely there will be a custom rom based on that official rom and ur hboot will not be updated by it
