The current kernel on official sense.froyo does not support underclock or.overclock.. u can try to swipe the value to lower but no effect now.. it will still run max at 998mhz.. that is the reason devs are waiting for the kernel source

thanks for the info, i will try it once i flashed to neo's nextsense rom.. im stiill on neophyte 1.4a which is based on frf91, havent tried rom based on official OTA since ive just finished my final exam yesterday.. yippe!


guys, nextsense 4.0 and leedroid mod 1.8 .. which one u guys prefer? do drop some thoughts.. i really wanna see ur personal opinions since quite a number of people rooted and already flashed custom roms now

i was just surveying out since both seems pretty equal. Its great to hear thoughts of others IMHO. A personal review from others would perhaps make me decide. To me both are equal. Leedroid seems more to stock. Neophyte is always sorta slightly ahead of leedroid in terms of mods implementations and fixes but leedroid is more stable. Leedroid is on the other hand usually updates b4 he goes to bed which is around 6am local time here. Haha.. ive been watching his pattern. He is a dedicated husband and a father now btw.

p/s : the above is a lil bit over the edge.. haha.. but thats what i can see clearly from them

i had just flashed to neo's latest 4.0 rom.. will try play digimon world to see if any difference between running 998mhz stock with 900 currently on save batt rom.. restoring all my backup now

ive already flashed to nextsense4.0 .. haha.. leedroid mod surely in my honest opinion is the closest to sense, quite stable but minor-ly customized.. neophyte seems to push his customization further but he exposes the rom to new bugs.. the good thing is, he fixes it in a flash..

To those using SLCD desire, be careful when rooting ur set and read more before doing. It appears that the SLCD driver is not the same as the previous amoled so u might be getting a blank display. Some reporting they managed to recover back by installing back stock via RUU in fastboot and the display went back on again after that.

Anyone noticed the latest Open desire mod has a 416MB ram? Whats the original amount? 400 isnt it after losing the rest from 576MB due to system allocation isnt it?

I see that its using the latest modded kernel. If only the kernel source is released as soon as possible. Surely our desire would be a hell lot better. and also that rom has FLAC native support due to the kernel. I wonder why people use FLAC on their phones. Its hell huge and large. 320kbps Mp3 seems to work fine for my ear. But still, its a good mod. Respect to the devs/modders!

I think ive mentioned this earlier, but i wanna repeat again the awesomeness of the hotspot feature. I can play Fifa10 with NO LAG at all with a friend using galaxy S and using my desire as the hotspot. He connects to my WIFI hotspot, i create game and he joins. No lag compared to trying to play the same game using a wifi router. The hotspot feature is just awesome. I can even tether my college's wifi connection over my wifi hotspot to a friend to connect to me since he suddenly can't connect to my college's wifi.

It appears that SLCD is the marketing term used by sony to promote IPS panel. Is it true? It means that its the same screen on droid X, Iphone 4. I saw it on a blog when it showed the 2 new devices video from HTC which is the Ace and the other is the win7phone series

i tend to make speedtest using the ookla speedtest app and make screenshots of it.. haha.. it became a hobby.. on average, the speed is great but depending on locations too.. too bad in my own bedroom im having problem getting a great reception.. only 1-2 bars and hard to get H icon in my own room.. lol.. outside of the house, everything works well..

r u using a download manager? my internet down (IDM) "ALWAYS" renames all my apk's into .zip .. if u see a zip, rename it.. or you could open that .zip with winrar etc.. if you are seing android manifest file and also other such as assests, lib, res.. it is actually an apk file renamed automatically by the download manager.. my IDM does that all the time.. so, after download.. i renamed it and transfers it to my phone

ive just realized that i clocked my phone to 691mhz max all this while.. wow.. i didnt even notice there is slow-ness.. even i played psx digimon world 1 also getting decent framerate.. nice2

anyone desire users going to HTC Android Garage tomorrow?

I did notice when you are using a2sd+, after partitioning your card, the class of your card dosent effect much anymore. USB transfer rate also dropped massively after partitioning ext3. On a fresh fat32 formatted card, everything seems very fast transferring.

it has been almost 2 weeks i didnt change to any rom.. LOL.. seems like a record for me.. just finished playing digimon world 1 on psx4droid.. digimon world 2 coming up.. hahaahha.. its really painful to charge using a phone as a PSP replacement btw..



btw, ive just realized [ROM][18/08] ۵.WhiteXperience 1.0 -based on CyanogenMod 6rc2· (720p|AP2SD+|Multilang) which is baked by neophyte too.. anyone tried?
