I had decided to get htc desire via maxis, until just now I read on maxis fb page there were quite a number of complaints where ppl were being overcharged for their data plan. That is freaking scary. Anyone here experiencing it and also NOT experiencing it?

Maxis has updated the HTC Desire's first glance specifications with SLCD, no more AMOLED for Desire.

so is it confirm that HTC desire will use SLCD from this moment onwards? or until the AMOLED is available again...

- Added HomeSwitcher and you can switch between different UI (I still prefer HTC Sense!)
- Added "Powersave", "Performance" and "Interactive" governer for setcpu...
- Smooth as usual.. no major bug
- Brut Maps stockified (by squrl) - you don't have to have two Google maps in the OS now, and there's no "Brut" watermark on the logo
- New version of "Superuser Permission"
- Lockscreen is changed to the transparent one again, but it's possible to revert to Android default still (I prefer that one!)
- 14 new wallpapers... but somehow they are all gone after I restored stuffs via Titanium Backup -.-

Rename the ClockworkMod Recovery Image to simply recovery.img.

Guys..need your assistance to tell me step by step how to root my desire. I saw in the forum but some how it just too complicated and scare that it may brick my phone. Any simple way to do it?

Did you install root explorer?
Last time I got the same problem after install root explorer...
I uninstall it then use chkdsk to repair,
Problem solved after that.
