yes, definitely I will upgrade my 2GB storage card.  My question is should I get the upgrade now?  If the migration from existing card to new card is as easy as just copy over than maybe I will wait further until the memory card price drop further.  If I need to redo the whole process (or most of the process) again if I want to upgrade the card later, then I may want to get a new card now.

Is there a custom rom with SenseUI which is stable?  The WhiteXperience above looks tasty but it does not have sense UI, right?

So the general steps:

1.  Root the phone with Unrevoked.
2.  Create partitions
3.  Flash rom.

Hi guys, out of the many custom ROMs you all have flashed, which one can support Papago X5? I heard Froyo does not support Papago yet. 
What GPS navigation software r u guys using on your custom ROMs? Mind to share?

I tried but dont really like papago, stick back to brut map with squrl mod~~

I've think I've finally discovered a way to rectify the Read Only issue.

Try it and verify that it works
1. Connect your phone and connect as "Disk Drive".
2. Right click the mounted SD Card--->Click "Properties".
3. Goto "Tools" tab ----> click "Check Now" on "Error Checking" section.
4. Make sure "Automatically fix file system errors" is checked----> click "Start"
5. Let it run, then it'll show you a report when it finishes, just click "Okay"/"Close".
6. Safely remove the drive and check on your phone if its still Read Only

Brut map / squrl mod need data connection in order to work ??

did you get ur kingmax class 10 already? if so download J benchmark from Market, set the buffer size to 8KB and run the test. report back your read/write speed

ok, i am downloading the relevant files now and should start the rooting process in a while... wish me good luck!!    I think I will flash NextSense 5.3 at the moment since it has sense UI.

BUT before I do that, reading from maliqu's guide, I will need to backup using Titanium backup (this will backup all my data - sms, notes, etc., right?)  but the guide din mention when shall I restore back the data. 

@KTCY, IT blocked off the usb port?
when you insert new usb drive, does it get recognized as new device?

titanium backup will backup the data to the SD card?  if so, later when doing the A2SD partition thing, the SD card will be wipe up or not? 

Based on my understanding:

1.  Run unrevoked to root the phone.
2.  Run titanium to backup data.
3.  Flash ROM.
4.  Flash Radio.
5.  Copy whatever in the SD card to computer.
6.  Partition for A2SD.
7.  Copy back the data in step 5 back to SD card.
8.  Run titanium to restore back data.

Is this correct?
