this is the exact file i DLed. i m asking how to install lol. not where to find it 

sry i am new to android, but how to install using ASTRO? i tried to extract, basically almost all files are non executable. there is no install button as well.. 

i DL from the link, its .zip instead of .apk.. i've got the program ASTRO file manager, when i use ASTRO to click the Whatsapp.zip, it just shows u whats inside. 

After I install a program using apk file can we delete the apk file or is it needed in the phone? Also is there a way to delete items in the external memory without connecting to the com?

Right, I will give it a shot. I assuming that by not backing up system app, this also excludes system data such as my mail, my facebook account, etc from being saved? Hence, one I booted into the new rom, I probably need to reconfigure?
Can you give me a link to the Backup Pro which could backup sms, mms and calendar? Thanks for sharing.

It can also backup your sense UI also if you lazy to recustomize it....
I tried before, it actually works but it might cause some bugs after restore where you might not able to find some widget which suppose to exist..
Some people claim that you might be able to see those widget by clearing the dalvik cache....
i found that only after i wipe and reflash my rom to get back those missing widget, so i havent try, not sure work or not...  

Oh, okok. I will see how it is and probably buy it but can you give me a link from appbrain.com so i roughly know how it looks like, rather than buying the wrong one.

By the way, anyone knows if any reboot is required during flashing of new ROM? Does it matter?
-Enter to recovery, do a Wipe Factory reset, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik, format/wipe partition Ext2, 3 or 4.
-Flash my ROM (If you have already last Radio you only have to install the rom Without Radio, and if not, install With Radio or separately).
-Flash new radio
-Run rom (First time takes some time to run)

I didnt reboot after I do a wipe / factory reset > wipe cache > wipe dalvik > wipe partition sd-ext > flashing NextSense 5.1 > flash the new radio........ AFTER ALL THAT BARU REBOOT!
Ok or not ah?

titanium backup is in titanium folder in your sd directory....
mybackup pro is inside a folder name rerware....

I'm having problem with HTC_IME mod as well, since NextSense v4.. dunno what's wrong. Always got FC when I try to use it.
Hahaha.. i tried openDesire before as well.. used for like half an hour. Then nandroid restore back to Sense rom. LOL.

Yea so used with Sense now. r8 already?.. wow. Planning to pay for MCR also, does it worth it? Since there's so many custom Roms out there I can use for free. Haha.
