Okay, my last battery report for NextSense 5.3, the battery was 100% since 9am:

- Wifi was on when I was in office - means I'm on "Talk" most of the time, and with GMail, Twitter, weather and news sync
- Occasional web surfing during office hour and lunch time
- Turn on my phones for a few times and just navigate around the different home screens for fun tongue.gif
- A few phone calls attempt to make a LIMO booking to airport (it's really hard to get them to answer my call -.-)
- A few SMSes
- Ran a couple of Quadrant test (I notice the score is 60-100 less than previous version)

It's been 13 hours and I still have 40% of battery left, so I think I'm quite happy with it. My non-technical analysis says the battery juice is saved for 15-20% compare to the previous version of NextSense (no hard proof on this sorry)

The breakdown is as below:

Cell Standby - 33%
phone idle - 29%
wifi - 16%
android system - 13%
voice calls - 5%
Display - 4%

Other settings:
Down-clocked to 806Mhz with setcpu
Display brightness is around 40%

Hope it helps wink.gif

hehe done! its still in the ext partition and working great now!

now i have problems with number 2 and 3 only.

@Samurai - do you experience any FC after using the quickoffice pro for awhile?

I did check the quickoffice version, but it doesn't appear to be "pro" version

I suspect it gets replaced already by the titanium restore

OpenDesire will be the way to go if HTC is not planning to release Gingerbread for Desire

Unless you're happy to stick with Froyo

Wow, you guys have been really particular about SD read/write speed huh? IMHO, as long as you don't find it laggy it's enough already. I've been using a 8GB Nokia class 4 MicroSD card (yes, nokia, I got it from my old N85), but I think it's still very snappy and no problem with data transfer speed

By the way, is anyone using Chrome to Phone? I thought it was pretty cool, it easily transfers the link from your Chrome browser to phone - of course you need to install an app in phone and extension in Google Chrome

But it needs Froyo (Android 2.2) smile.gif

After I flashed to NexTSense 5.2, I noticed that my batt drop from 98% before I went to bed to 61% when I woke up sweat.gif

Did you turn on any wifi or suspicious app that drains your batt? That's certainly unusual

Battery hardly drops 10 percent on my NextSense 5.3 (but it's known to be more power efficient compare to 5.2) if I leave it on overnight with Mobile Data off
