volvo were doing well in the 80s so did alfa in 60s but dunno why nowadays only bmw and merc doing well

Lexus has great refinement and quality, but......some people say, where is the soul?

If u have lots of money, why would u want to buy something that is made in Japan or Korea? Even loaded Japanese or Korean drive German or Italian marques.

i read from motoring magazine that they put some expensive log in their flagship LS and they even tried implement the sound of expensive wooden for mansions oopening/closing sound on the car door to make it feel more expensive or something

If you look in Malaysia, Toyota Harrier (well.......it is Lexus IS past generation) is selling well (in grey market).

However, you need to know that Lexus has only two showrooms in Malaysia.

i always thought luxury car is a segment for hmp luxury car? guess i was wrong luxury car is a segment for "rare" car one of a kind so i guess a 50 years old limited edition honda is more luxurious than a modern day bmw/merc/jag/audi/lexus

Next are Merc, BMW, Audi, Lexus & VW. Mostly used by businessmen as company cars.

Later, u have Nissan GTR, Chevrolet Corvette, Ford Mustang & other sports coupe as weekend toy cars.

For common working class people, they drive Toyota Camry, Honda Accord & Lexus LX/RX.

Not many Ferrari or Lambo here due to bad roads.

Forgot to add. Hummer H2 also plenty and many are souped or pimped. The car is cheap to begin with. Starts at USD 60k and mods alone can cost USD 100k.

My personal favourite is the Toyota Tundra especially the pimped up ones... huge ass truck (as big as the Inokom AU26 lorry) with 26" rims and lots of chrome, leather and insane ICE to back it up.
