I just need to build multiple barracks. 2-3 to churn out marines and medics and the rest to fly off to reveal the structures. I will give it a go.
I know playing the new missions will provide an easier time to achieve it but i want to try and see if i can do it without nukes or vikings or scanner

finished 29/29 missions on brutal. got my kerrigan avatar .

just make sure when you're doing "media blitz" mission you MUST pick up the secret object to unlock the secret mission otherwise you won't be able to get 29/29. i was lucky to find the object cause i like destroying anything that can be destroyed lol, just read on TL today some people weren't able to to get 29/29 cause they missed this object.

last mission on brutal is really hard also, took me 8 hours yesterday to finally finish it.

Other option also is to get the tech that get you the radar sweep ability for your command center.

Then build 2-3 of them and spam it, then use the dig drill to kill the buildings

Hard is already "brutal" enough on certain missions, especially them Protoss ones. I can't imagine doing Brutal on those.

yes you can, i just try it.

but numbers of protos will come to attack ur burracks, it isnt as easy as i thought....but definitely easier than full force attack.

What do those 3 feats of strength do? Where does it appear in your profile?

yay i just completed the zero hour mission on hard mode and get the achievement.
my tactic is spam like 30++ marines and 8 medic

I got my hard achievement for The Dig mission last night [destroy 50 Protoss structures] without having the ability of scanner, nukes or flying units.
Strategy is to build 2-3 barracks and fly it North of the Protoss base using the terrain advantage to reveal the structures.

Got a question for you guys, can enlightened me how to issue multiple commands for the dig laser? I tried Shift+click on the protoss units and i can see it set a waypoint in sequence but after that, the laser didn't fire. Then i tried Shift+Right Click and still not working. So ended up manually targeting the units one by one. Appreciate your help.

what I did was wait till the laser hit the first target then only shift+click on to the 2nd,3rd,... targets

Thanks for the tip Dietylord. So you have to get the laser to hit the first unit before issuing the chain commands. *Will try this when i start Brutal campaign.

I got 2 more Hard achievements recently:-

1. Safe Haven [protect citizens choice] - Successfully defend 3 outposts.
Luckily i did the mission with the Siege tanks first because having the tanks really helps to destroy the last Protoss Nexus. If i just send in waves of Vikings and Marines+Medic, can easily get slaughtered by the many Void Rays, Collosi, Carrier and Immortals. Not to mention the zealots and stalkers.
Did you guys manage to achieve this without the Siege tanks? Can share your strategy?

2. Breakout [Side with Tosh choice] - Complete the mission <25 mins.
Lots of micro manage and need to spring the prisoners to access Diamondbacks and Siege Tanks and good placement of Nukes. I did it in 24 mins. If you guys got a better time and strategy, kindly share.

I completed the game on normal. Do I get additional credits if I replay a mission on harder difficulty?
