Wanted to find out about Battle.net subscription for SC2.

How does it really works cause I'm playing on US Server (US CE Edition)?

A bit vague on it cause it said US is 1-time payment but the rest of the world is monthly.

any of you guys encounter this problem.. sometime into play, SC2 will hang in between cutscenes or before loading a mission.

it doesn't happen during the early hours into the game though.

I'm on Win7 Ulti 32 bit, C2D 2.4Ghz, NV 9800 GTX+, 4Gb RAM.

Gfx settings are a mix, Shaders on ultra and movie quality set to high.

and no, mine is not the jack sparrow version.. sweat.gif

thanks in advance!

hmm considering the condition is during transition(well you need to load the next "area", like the hyperion or cinematic/loading, this could be HDD issue. Perhaps try to download HDTune and check if theres health issues or bad sectors etc. additionally if you havent defrag your drive in like years, you may try to do that. also leaving few GB of space for pagefile/vram could also help if ur having like under 500MB in the driver where your sc2 is installed (this could also depend on how your pagefile location is configured too, so may or may not help).

hmm.gif you know what, i just ran OO defrag and more that 50% of the cluster inspector showed RED.. shocking.gif

the partition in which i installed SC2 still has 27Gb of free space though..

i'll defrag my drive, see how it goes from there.

Thanks for the assistance Quazacolt, much appreciated! thumbup.gif rclxms.gif

@alertz,

if i remember correctly, there were only 4 instances where the error reporter window opened after my SC2 crashed. the rest - the screen is black. i still can move the cursor around, though and the music is still playing. Open task manager and it says SC2 is not responding...

really hard to tell. while sc2 may not consume a lot of data, long time playing would still consume quite a bit. and not sure if ur gonna surf/voice comm and what not with your connection (how much that is)

thanks for the fast reply. smile.gif

but just mainly on sc2, lets say a normal game of 3vs3, after a game of let's say an hour.. any idea how much data was used.. is there anyway to check on this?..
