guys how do you search for other people's profiles?
I know how to access my own profile page on sea.battle.net. it's obviously a 'public' page. let's say i 1v1 somebody and i want to look up his profile page on battle.net ... is that possible? click all over the place on battle.net also can't seem to find ...
Ok I'm not too sure about this but afaik there may be a link from the in game profile page of said player.on the web, so far I don't think there is a search interface yet.there is a workaround which is to find that guys battle net forum posts and view his profile from there.only problem is that if he's like me and never post on battle net then that would not be possible

Added on August 28, 2010, 7:34 pmoh wow just noticed zen updating on 2nd post too, good work man and thanks for doing it ^^
me/fuj/zen should some day get together and consolidate the FAQ as some are outdated/no longer needed and potentially redundant entries too.
anyways putting up a guide for SEA/USA dual installs:
1) acquire a copy of USA/SEA installation disc (or digital download)
2) Install one starcraft 2 region first. Then patch it up to the latest patch. log in with your account, just to make sure it works, and creates the profile/data folders.
3) now we begin the 2nd region installation of starcraft 2
do NOT have Starcraft 2 playing in the background (why would you anyways? it lags so bad during installation. unless of course you have RAID drives or SSDs heh)
4) Rename the following folders to add "USA" or "SEA" depending which version you installed first.
Example: if you installed USA first, rename the following folders to add "USA" at the back
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StarCraft II
C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\StarCraft II
C:\Users\Quazacolt\Documents\StarCraft II
lets say i installed USA region first, after renaming they would look something like:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StarCraft II USA\
C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\StarCraft II USA\
C:\Users\Quazacolt\Documents\StarCraft II USA\
5) install the other region that you got. make sure you change the default installation path.
example:
lets say you installed USA first, now you're installing SEA
C:\Program Files\StarCraft II (is your default path)
C:\Program Files\StarCraft II SEA should be your changed installation path
6) patch and log in your other region using your other region account details. after logged in and profile/data folders created for them. You're set for dual login.
7) remember the previous renamed folders? now all you need to do is keep the following folders opened to swap easily without losing your profile cache/replays/screenshots/various data:
C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment
C:\Users\Quazacolt\Documents
so now i need to rename the current starcraft II after im done playing SEA to add SEA at the back of it. and ERASE USA from the back of the previous starcraft 2 folder.
Example after im done on SEA, and logging in back USA:
current-
C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\StarCraft II
C:\Users\Quazacolt\Documents\StarCraft II
becomes-
C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\StarCraft II SEA\
C:\Users\Quazacolt\Documents\StarCraft II SEA\
while-
C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\StarCraft II USA\
C:\Users\Quazacolt\Documents\StarCraft II USA\
becomes back to-
C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\StarCraft II
C:\Users\Quazacolt\Documents\StarCraft II
The idea is that whatever region you're currently playing = without renaming while the other, is renamed.
Goodluck and most importantly, have fun with your dual region prior to x-region/SEA -> USA xover. Do post here, or even pm me if you have further questions but please make sure you read the guide thoroughly prior to posting/pm'ing ^^
