Hey LYN forumer. I have a few question about this yes 4g broadband. Hope you guys will enlighten me on this broadband.

1) I do want to apply for yes valuepack68 but can i just subscribe that package if i'm not existing customer which means i just sign up as new user of valuepack68?

2) How much do i need to pay for the 1st time (valuepack rm68 + yes go device) if i do not have any yes devices ( go/ huddle etc )?

3) Is the coverage at INTI subang good cos i'm staying around that area.

4) Will yes tell me when i'm exceeding the usage limit (3.5gb for yes valuepack68) aka FUP?

5) What will happen when i exceed the FUP will i get disconnected or what soever?

6) What do u think of yes 4g compare to other wireless bb ( maxis/celcom/digi/umobile/p1)?

3 - coverage u have to check at their website. i would say their coverage shown in the map is pretty much accurate by far (for me).

4 - you wont exceed you limit as your value (prepaid) (or data) is deducted as you use. when it become zero, you cant browse anything except yes.my website.....

5 - you will get a nice page telling you to topup ... i think .... it did happen to me once. but forgot how it looks like.

6 - better than maxis/celcom/digi but no comment on umobile and p1. this is only on my experience at my office area where i used these broadband.
my house also just few hundred meter (i think 150m) outside the coverage area .... but cant get signal. so just wont bother with it lah.
valuepack valid for 30 days. no auto renew. you buy more if you wanted to. should you want it every month, then you buy it every month.

I've got a question.

Does Yes calls count towards your data quota?

I search through all their site but can't find any info on it but I do know that other voip calls like Skype does.

Meaning if I use a Valuepack RM68, I'm given 150mins of calls. When making a call on Yes network, will calls also count towards data reductions?

i think it is fair because it is valid for 30 days in the first place. you should be able to use everything in 30 days or less. i am light user 1gb per month only, so just use normal reload deduction, no valuepack.

but thank you on VP activation issues. i did not know that. 1 day eh ? quite long ..... yes seriously need to improve on this matter.
it will deduct the free minute first. when that count to zero, it will deduct from your reload. however if not mistaken IDD call straightaway deduct reload amount.

i have some other question, currently i have around RM30 in my YES account if i want to transfer the remaining RM30 to next month do i need to top up RM30 or this thing is not available for my type of account?

Frankly, YES customer service is no par with any other provider I think. They don't even have a 24/7 CS line to call. Which mean if you facing any problem off their office hours, you are at your own, which I think is really bad. Even with a busy CS line, at least people will know how to check what happen. Last Sunday night I facing some connection problem, where by almost 1 hour the moderm is connected, but except ww.es.my, no other place I can go, and hell, their only option for that time is send email to their cs?

Haha, given most response so far I think YES can cope up with the capacity easily since many people will be trying to ration their internet usage. 

Why don't you just take the RM 150 valuepack? If you can't finish it you can always bring forward to next month

So first I need to get the Go Starter Pack which is RM100..
Then after that should i purchase any other package as well in order to use Internet?
