well, we've learnt time and time again, that rumor specs are like icing on top of a cake, they're sweet and is really delicious but packs no weight, and at the end of the day the cake itself is always not as tasty as you'd expect it to be, but filling nonetheless.

wingster, if you think the samyang's price suits your budget, go ahead with it, as 14mm is already considered pretty wide. having smaller focal lengths will eventually cause distortions as it goes wider. 14mm should have that under control.

oh one more thing, dont put your watermark there when you want to send it to him, u may edit the pic though (not to the point where all the noise artifacts pop up, it will then spoil the purpose)

he asked for it, i'd just send if i were you ... he will print it large or not, then will be his decision. out of the pics that he asked me to send to him, only 2 was printed out. no biggie la.. but i can understand your excitement in this.. good job
