what OT, we're talking about data integrity. image data that could leak into the open if left unsecured/not destroyed. images that could ruin reputations (read: edison's case). images/data that could reveal prototypes or pre-launch products (read: Apple and Gizmodo's case).

what if zstan is an engineer for Sony? Would anyone here dare say 100% he isn't one? What if he's working on something so volatile, that if it got leaked into the market, it would cause an uproar among all digital electronic users? So he's merely asking for a way to dispose of those information securely.. vacation apa...

(damn, been watching too much movies lately, too much intel/war/tactical novels)

mastering, you'll probably hear long lengthy suggestions on RAID when it comes to backup plans.. but i've got 2 Ext HDDs, whether spoilt or not, will get a replacing one when the previous one is nearly 4 years old. then will copy over important image folders over to the new one..

edward, if you want to compare d300s, 50D, 1DmkIV or D3x, then of coz those will easily achieve 8-10 fps bursts. But do take a look at the price range. Those that i mention, none come close to NEX or A550 (if you wan compare apple and apples) in terms of price.

are there any glasses involved in the adapter? if got, then take the ori one, if dont have then by all means... get the 3rd party.

but do note that the ori adapter has a firmware installed in it as well, according to the review done by albnok. so should there be any firmware updates in the future, it COULD enable SAM/SSM lenses to AF

or else, why did Sony went through all the hassle of making a new line of SAM lenses? surely enough they already planned this many years in advance.

no need ask if u can slot in or not one... just take the card out from pocket, slip it in, snap snap snap, take it out, and smile at the sales and say thank you. what can they do? ask u to delete everything inside?

35mm, seriously is not wide nor tele.. using my mini beercan, i could not use it as a walkaround lens. but as a portrait lens for my mini beercan, yes, its really good. the 35mm end allows you to frame a half body shot within comfortable range on a crop sensor.
