QUOTE(jamieshin @ Nov 23 2010, 05:10 PM) hi.. can anyone help me to range below phones?.. from Good ----> Best.. Do you need a QWERTY keyboard? If so, please go for the Desire Z. All in one. Besides that, Aria is a good start for Android phones. Please withdraw the idea of Wildfire. Screen reso/type shouts bad. Initially i was gonna get the Wildfire but the store manager managed to convince me to get Galaxy 5 instead. Downside is same screen reso as Wildfire. (320x240). If you do want to go for a basic use Android phone, and want to get Wildfire, opt for Galaxy 5 instead. For a fuller experience, take the Desire. DesireHD is a no-no. Has bad news going around. The news might be wrong though. If you can wait for a few months, wait for the Desire HD as it is the flagship device then. If the firmware is stable and performance. is superior compared to the Desire.1. Wildfire 2. Aria 3. Desire 4. Legend (or any phone u can think of.. but must be HTC Android) I wan to buy HTC Android phone.. dun1 regret after buying~ n worth for the money~~ thank you very much~~~~ This post has been edited by xDarkKn1ghtx: Nov 23 2010, 08:36 PM |

QUOTE(jamieshin @ Nov 23 2010, 10:22 PM) thx everyone.. yea.. i js go try on wildfire.. cannot accept the resolution~ i wanna take Aria.. but the screen kinda small.. so thkin of Desire.. but i wan in White color~~~~~~~~~~~ where can i get it?.. i would love to hv the QWERTY keyboard but i prefer like the blackberry torch tat kind.. Because the earlier batches of the desire used amoled but later changed because SLCD was more vibrant. But the AMOLED batches was favoured over th e SLCD. In response to your question, most, if not all Android phones don't have a blackberry esque qwerty keyboard. If you insist on a qwerty keyboard u can try Desire Z. Though its the normal slide keyboardAdded on November 23, 2010, 10:28 pm checked in GSM.. got White color & also Silver color.. oso google it.. White color so nice la.. Added on November 23, 2010, 10:52 pmy some of Desire phone is in AMOLED but some is SLCD? |

khalpowers. The Desire might have flaws but not like ur xt is perfect right? If she wanted a HTC phone then let her. Some of us here might not trust Motorola anymore. I'm one of those. I had alot of bad experiences with Motorola.

New Desire is also possible. If you don't mind topping up a lil more, go for upcoming DHD. So you won't butthurt seeing one on the streets. xt720 is quite a good choice too. SGS would be a better choice if you need the video call. The Hummingbird processor is really 1. Brand - HTC/Samsung 2. Budget - RM1,000-2,000 3. Specs. - Android 4. QUOTE(yeohkc @ Dec 2 2010, 08:34 PM) Oic.. beside of lacking of froyo are there any other downside..? coz i buy this phone because its cheaper compare to other high specs phone.. won't be using for long time too .. coz waiting for the phone i wan to release.. Good choice as the camera is quite high in quality. Can be used as a secondary camera/phone. Its actually a mid-high tier phone so compared to other phones, the performance difference wouldn't be very significant as it also has a 1ghz processor. This post has been edited by xDarkKn1ghtx: Dec 3 2010, 03:02 PM |

QUOTE(VCBlogger @ Dec 4 2010, 06:42 AM) Hi Guys ... i am thinking to get either Samsung Galaxy S , Desire or Desire HD..which is a better choice.. SGS-If you need the video calling and also prefer SamsungI thought Galaxy S would be great but heard complaints of it having lag and unable to connect to PC without KIES . Desire HD is great but lousy battery life and Desire is an all rounder but bit old... someone please help DHD-If you do not want to change to a newer phone in at least a year or two Desire-If you prefer better battery life. The Desire is also the best they can offer now as it is one of the most stable phone. DHD might have an upgraded software for maintaining battery life somewhere in the future. To be safe, I recommend you get the Desire. AP sets are only 1.5k now in Garage Sales. |

QUOTE(pandazhun @ Dec 9 2010, 09:23 AM) white desire available soon, someone selling at LYN. You should ask this at the Desire official thread. Your method could work if u need the data plan but do not want the DHD. Or you could try out the DHD then sell it out for RM100-250 cheaper if you don't like it. If you do, keep it.was thinking to sign up for DIGI smart plana + DHD then resell DHD and buy AP desire as I'm really noob in Android so thinking to familiar with android using Desire 1st, all the rooting and Rom make me dizzy. so what do you recommend me? Desire can be used as wifi hot spot? can desire phone receive calls and sms when being used as Wifi hotspot ? |

QUOTE(SihamZhai @ Dec 10 2010, 12:17 AM) I use my phone for certain small apps, the web, social stuff like twitter, fb, msn and skype. Listens to music when Im in my uni library so I need a long battery life. Which would be better in terms of the conditions I want: Desire or the Wildfire will do? I think the Nexus S battery life is longer compared to the others QUOTE(mimi89 @ Dec 10 2010, 08:02 AM) brand: Any Go for SE x10i if you don't mind the Eclair. There is no more upgrade in the future afaik. RM13xx or so for ori setbudget: rm 1300 Specs : Larger screen as possible, and capacitive touch sensor Application : Good for general entertainment The other option is the xt720 which also has Eclair only. |
