i know my avanza can be push to 380-400km per tank
so no worries even without gauge...

will i hear, "the day ur odometer not working you wont be saying this"
?
*
my avanza can go up to 480-500 km depends on driving style...
im using second batch avanza 1.3 year 2006...
never concern about warning light, as when the needle touch the bottom line
i know, time for top-up the fuel again...

now you know some cars don't have warning light when petrol is empty. So learn to pump petrol when indicator is very low.

it is a toyota, just accept the fact.

Added on July 26, 2010, 3:55 pmbtw , saying no need the fuel gauge is useless is like saying the rev meter doesn't really make any importance in our car.

it's true...
but it's depends on your load, your aircond usage
your mods to your car...
does your car standard?

however, in avanza club there are few members that manage to get much more better result than mine...

Ah...yours is manual, no wonder difference by so much.

Anyway, here is what is have for my 1.3 auto avanza:

1) K&N drop in filter - DONE
2) Borsch Iridium Spark Plug - not changing cause just changed spark plug
3) 4-2-1 extractor with relocate catlyc convertor
4) customized cool air intake?
5) zaptor gold voltage stabilizer - not getting
6) grounding cable - not getting
7) titan adjustable suspension - nothing to do with saving petrol but I did already changed to Gabriel suspension. Adjustable too expensive for me.

I think will do 3 and 4. How much and where do you recommend? BTW, the extractor should be different for AT, right?

the extractor - for A/T you should go for 4-1 extractor
for cool air intake - it's DIY, u need 2½ flexi pipe with 0.5cm superlon insulation
for adjustable - it's help bro, the less bouncy and more stable your car will make u to apply less brake wink.gif

where i get it, all item i buy through avanza club under group purchase
