Sorry, another common question again.

I'm planning to get a camera now.
My Mind were stick into Lx-3, Lx-5 and Fz40

Lx-3 is just only RM1250. But Lx-5 is RM1450.
The price range is there. Is it worth to pay extra more RM200 for a Lx-5?

About Fz-40 from obvious spec look seem better than both of the lx model. But there's less recommend from people.
The price is only RM1350.

Any recommendation and explanation please?

Ok, i admit ur answer cant find on google, cause i did tried. So only can ask lx5 user here who free to measure for u, for 1st page, i mentioned SOME INFO, not saying ur answer can be found on there.

Added on November 23, 2010, 10:22 amIf u got the budget, of cause can go for Lx5 and it worth to get due to is sucessor of Lx3, got better specs compare with Lx3. If u are Lx3 user and plan upgrade to Lx5, then i feel not that worth. For Fz-40, i dont know much about that model, so cant give any comment.

IMO, LX3 is good enough already if you wanna start shooting. No point to get latest ones if you dun even use those additional functions.

For LX3 & LX5, depend on your budget~ LX5 got de zoom during video recording and other stuff~ so depend on your needs too~

For Fz-40, u can refer review from other website like dpreview, etc~ Its more like a dslr to me~ If u prefer compactness, u can put aside this model~

Just my 2cents opinion~

As for me, I would prefer to one shot buy a good one. At least I can slowly learn the functions from there and I don't have to invest in a new one once I'm used with the old model. I think I save more in the long term. Perhaps, this is just me. Hehe! My friend is caught in this situation as well.
