Actually I think the LX-5 is in between the S95 and G11. Not direct competitors...

Hi all, anyone recently bought LX5 around PJ/KL area, what's the best offer/price? Anything below RM1500 for original Panasonic unit/warranty? If so, can you share the info? I'm looking around for one, preferably below RM1500 - don't need any SD/case/freebies, just the unit + basic accessories. Thanks!!

Just wanna ask y u guys choose LX5 compare to others like S90/S95?
In what terms does it perform best than the rest~

I think LX5 wins in general, except the size is much bigger than S95...

p.s. I am not LX5 user, just watched videos of it..

if u like image quality lx5 is better... but if u prefer more compact design get s95

what do you mean get conned??? i did call them (03-2144 9198) and they quoted me RM1600. can you explain further what you mean by con?

Tarita has a very bad reputation and after sales service if I am not mistaken..

see all of them say that.... but i got lucky dunno why huhuhuhuu well i dun have bad experience with them just other forumer say it

i have no experience with s90/s95 but get my lx5 to replace nikon d90(stolen). i'm very satisfied with what it can do. and its compact enough to put in my pocket

Well S95 is pocketable, I wouldn't consider LX5 pocketable cause it's similar to a NEX with Pancake lens with the lens protruding out... Add another rm100 you can get NEX3 +16mm for around rm1.7k...

got consider the nex series too but nex5 too exp~
