I can't see the thread helping.

what i see is, these 2 cars are for different purposes.

If your looking for a Family Car >>> EXORA
If your looking for a car bigger than hatches just to carry things around >>> ALZA

I really cant see how hard it is to pick up between these 2.

Im looking for a Car just to bring my GF and I to work. sometimes fetching some friends, and we need to carry stuffs for business purposes with good fc. And sometimes carry our dogs. So Alza definitely!

If im looking for a family car (which explains everything) no doubt I'll go for Exora.
but for me i think, I will get better car instead. when im working for like 10 years and having children, i dont think i'll be as poor as now! xD

if you are looking for superb qualities, your probably at the wrong section
when your buying new cars with such price tags you shouldn't be surprise with the quality. as long as it doesn't bring much trouble then it should do the job! every car is built for their own purposes. if it meet your budget and usage, then go for it.

Guys, i'm going to have same decision to make with between Exora Bold Standard (CFE) VS ALZA EZI going to get either one of it this comming CNY.

Price exora 69k VS Alza 64K

i'm personally thinking Exora is my 1st choice over Alza, how ever, another major concerns is the FUEL consumption, i'm 7 days a week working driving from seri kembangang to KL City in peak hours.

Any of you are Alza or Exora Bold CFE users, kindly reply your fuels consumption ?

1. Price for Full tank
2. last for how many KM for full thank?
3. how often you refuel?

can some one comment on exora CVT which tends to downshift [too much] when u cruise uphill.... i've driven a CPS exora before and i hate when it does that....

it aint the same when u switch gear 5 to gear 4 ( i've driven manuals all this while)

anyone driven a CFE engine, can u comment on that? pls

It's a CVT, even if it downshifts you won't be able to feel it. There is no shift shock, and doesnt shift up and down like a conventional AT car.

last time i use it, it roars like hell when it downshifts going uphill.. i drove at LPT kuantan area, 4 adults with luggage.

its a different experience on MT

BTW dares, u drove exora CFE?

Exora CPS is known to be underpowered when going uphill, hence the frequent downshift to achieve more torque at high RPM.

The CFE engine has more torque at lower RPM (max torque at 2k RPM), hence there is little need to downshift. Furthermore the CVT is smooth and very comfortable, none of the shift shock nonsense compared to the 4AT gearbox in the CPS.

Sorry I've never driven the EB up Genting, though I have driven the Saga FLX SE with CVT, which is almost the same gearbox as the Exora Bold.

for value over money get exora EB, but prepared for lousy after sales service. (potong ma) but you can join exora club like EOCM to gain more knowlege and help when it times to claim warranty smile.gif

actually i drove the auto CPS version of Exora, true its underpowered when came out from the showroom, however being campro cps had soo many upgrade parts out there to increase engine performance. thrown abt 3k and get full kit from works engineering + piggyback then cap ayam exhaust system.. best achievement can tailgating audi q3 going up genting

F/c = full tank from kl 80 rm and 1 bar left when reaching bukit kayu hitam. speed 120 to 170 sometimes when a myvi cucuk smile.gif
