QUOTE(Koross @ Jun 7 2006, 10:35 AM) I have my Tyrian monk and warrior over to Cantha already. The quests and missions are tough if you are not careful. Its a good challenge though but I still prefer GWP than GWF because the pace is more acceptable rather than GWF where everything is hectic. quest at kaineng is tough coz they expect most prophecies char that go are lvl 20, and the amount of henchman u can bring is crazyas for new character in faction, i just got to my first mission only havent try it though, so not sure how tough it's gonna be one thing though faction is not newbie friendly, better to start with prophecies instead of going straight to faction QUOTE(Pangkey @ Jun 7 2006, 10:38 AM) go to lion arch, talk to first sergio (i think), get the mhenlo quest, board a ship and u r there, btw if u r a warrior, there is a boss there with an axe elite skill u can capture, i did that last nite This post has been edited by valho: Jun 7 2006, 10:47 AM |

QUOTE(Shenyang @ Jun 13 2006, 08:21 PM) Meh.. I'm going to get my copy of Factions tomorrow, if they are still in stock. Anyone wants to help out a total newb? well msg me when u r in, my assassins still in the starter island at the moment I read about the game though, sounds very nice, especially with the fact that you don't have to worry about messing up your stats, and you get to mix and match with the secondary profession. The local guild CO looks quite happening, anyone has the link to the GV forum? I would like to take a look at the possible guilds i would like to join. Btw, is GV was in RO before right? I remember seeing something along that line. |

QUOTE(tanleeseng @ Jun 18 2006, 10:08 PM) Please refer to my previous post. A word of warning though.... Assassin is a though profession to play. They are not as though as a Warrior and they don't do indirect damages like caster professions. Try to aim for healers -> casters -> ranger ->assassins -> warrior in order. Apply the hit & run method and you'll be fine but this will also annoy the ones who are trying to heal/enchant you. This is why the Assassin is the least prefered profession in the game. We have no love i can vouch for that haha (Note : "Don't play like a tanking Warrior/Monk !" even if your secondary is /W or /Mo.) and assassins is best play with a team of other player rather than henchman, as u can get better support with other player which u really needs in order to survive currently mine is assassins/necro, still havent found any good necro skill to properly complement my assassins skill, any ideas guys |
