Lol I'm glad to see people enjoying the 30mm. However the problem now is I've heard of people saying that the 30mm on a crop-censor (500D) may be a little big too "close". So I'm now considering getting the canon 28mm f/1.8 instead, thoughts?

It's equivalent to 48mm.. the Canon 28mm ( 44mm eq) is less sharp and 2/3 of a stop slower and for about the same price (in my region at least). ps: i think you're confused about crop factor.. all dslr lens are specified in 35mm equavalent. QUOTE(albnok @ Sep 13 2011, 01:30 AM) I love the orthogonal projection, and the leading lines. I count 3 lines! Though it would be nice if the other dudes on the right weren't in the picture. Then it would be a good example of a wait! Another street shot! » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Thanks albnok. Speaking of lines reminds me of the lines shot you taught when we outside of MV KTM station. rx330I feel that wide (24 or 32) lens is very nice, u can go wide, and u can go close up. As oppose using 50mm or more is tighter and not so nice if want to get alot of people in 1 frame

Just bring one lens one body la. you will end up taking more photos. Why ? One lens one body means lighter. You can walk and explore more. Additional weight of body can be used for carrying a bottle of mineral water. No time wasting debating what body to snap this pic or dat pic. No shots missed because of changing lens. If thai mat rempit grab your bag, you loose only one camera one lens instead of everything. p/s - if you still decide to bring two bodies, leave one in the hotel la.

thanks hiro in fact, im actually bringing 3 bodies, but one will be kept at the hotel and 2 on the go and the lens will be on fixture, so depending on which lens, then will use which camera to take
