Well, was he really the best? He and Nesta will probably the best center-back pairing we ever seen, but to me, the best defender was and will always be Maldini.

Despite me being a Juve die-hard, its very hard for me to see who else can be charismatic and skillful as Maldini. Who else could subdue Overmars so easily all the time .

Agreed.. Bastos is needed..

Matri and Quag are both good players... but dont have your hopes too high on them as they both performed only half a season each.. Before moving to Juve, they are average to good players at best...

If Matri and Quag can up their game even further then it is good for us.. but I will not be surprised if given them a full season to prove, they end up like Toni (the old version) and Iaq whom are good enough for mid-table sides or as a sub but never great enough for Juve..

both Argentina & Chile out from Copa America recently...and last i heard dat both of our transfer target (Aguero & Vidal) will discuss their future after Copa finished(it is for them)..

could Marotta finalised the deal of both of em @ we'll opt for Rossi instead of Aguero.. i hope we'll not having a false hope..again

I do hope Melo will still stay. His combative style is something we need, akin to something Tacchinardi and Conte and Davids provided during their time.

The rest, just sell them for as much as money can already lah .

on his day Melo is a beast on the pitch... But his error prone & clumsiness has cost us for too many match (kungfu kick vs Parma was clear example).

So im kinda 50-50 about him. If we got Arturo Vidal maybe its arrivaderci Melo

I guess we can't really complain if we get Vidal. He did single handedly nullify Kaka and BL's top scorer in the previous season, considering that he was a defensive midfielder who can go offensive.
