^Juve & Marotta definition of "next week" = The week @ 2 weeks after dat.

Just look at Bastos & Lichsteiner negotiation.. If according to them they are already Juve player by Friday last week.. Now still anything yet to be confirmed laugh.gif

Lichtsteiner lined up for Juventus move

sos: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/...us-move?cc=4716

now i hope we can get bastos soon too.. n aquero, it is nice if we can secure his deal, but if we cant, i dun mind, now i kinda please with our current striker tongue.gif
i really look forward with our current squad, n i hope nex season we can secure champions league spot too.. i also hope no more injury spell hitting our squad nex season, n we maintain our good performance from the start till the end, unlike last season, we start quite good at the first half of the season, then we ve been curse wit injuries and losing to small clubs far to many times.. if our squad can overcome all these, then i believe scudetto will be ours again. a lot of hope from me sweat.gif goodluck old lady rclxm9.gif

I feel that if we managed to sign Aguero it will be a signal of big intent to the rest of Europe.. It will silence the doubters, the haters, the people who calls us cheats as well as those who claimed that Juve are a finished club that nobody wants to join, a fallen giant like Nottingham Forest. It will be a move that will prove that Elkan and Agnelli still care for this club and their fans. It will be a sign that this club still have ambitions, and that it wants to reclaim its place at the top of Serie A and fight for the CL again. If we managed to sign Aguero, it will also give provide the much needed confidence to our future targets that coming to Juve is a good choice, a good opportunity to win trophies. Juve has started to rot, two 7th place finishes are prove of that, but let us try to get a top player when there is still hope of stopping the rot.

If we are not able to attract top stars now, what hope will there be to attract them in the future? We will attract them when we qualify for the CL? Top players will see it as a flash in a pan and will inspire no confidence if we qualify with the Pepes, the Tonis, the Vucinics and the Iaquintas... They will see Juve as no hopers even if we managed to qualify for the CL...You dont win the CL with Pepes and Iaquintas eventhough both of them are good players.. Top players usually wants to join a club that have at least a chance of winning the CL eventhough winning it will be hard. Playing along side Amauri, Iaquinta hardly inspire any confidence if compared to playing along side the Del Pieros, the Zindanes, the Agueros, the Rooneys... nod.gif

Never seen Aguero before? Or do not know what is the fuss about him? Go see youtube videos of him, or if possible TRY to watch his Atletico games or wtahc the coming COPA America smile.gif He is a perfect replacement in terms of position for Del Piero.. nod.gif

Nonetheless, players to cover our weak positions (RB & LW) are still a must. We have secured Lict, now we need a left winger and Aguero...Then the transfers are complete. We have the funds to do so as compared to the previous two seasons, therefore the lack of funds is not an excuse this time around.

^ nice summary

with all the (possible & incoming) signing along with the new environment (new stadia), things will go differently next season. But i wouldn't put my hope so high right now..

Haha.. Yup.. But if Aguero comes, it will be a dream come true. It has been 6 years since we last signed a top player. Ibrahimovic was the last one..Aguero will boost the shirt sales as well as the club's profile and the new stadium will bring in more revenue.

Eventhough we have yet to sign him, he is a dream for us Juve fans.. Marotta has so far kept his promise of getting a left back and a right back. He has succeeded, now lets see if he is capable of bringing in the remaining two fishes... The LW (Bastos for 15 mil Euros will satisfy me because Quag has the ability to play as a left wing forward too) and Aguero.. hmm.gif hmm.gif

Aguero coming in will be a bonus, but i'm perfectly happy if otherwise.
The lack depth in our back 4 is still quite worrying.

Ya, agreeed that our back four lack depth. But even if we are to purchase another defender, it must be a well thought out move. A move for a young defender (make Sorenson's deal permanent) with the potential to be great and cost reasonable will be ideal.

No point to so call "strengthen" the team with established average (Rinaudo) to good defenders (Bazagli) with high wages... At the end of the day, even if they are able to fill in the gaps when Chiellini or Bonucci is injured, they will still cause more damage (poor positioning, poor marking leading to the opponent scoring) in terms of the team's results than do good...

see. Like most of Juve problem last season.. They've no problem scoring. Heck, even goal.com create the article "Juve will have trouble surpass 40 serie a goals this season". Guess what? They just make themselves turn into laughing stock hence the name 'lol.com' created tongue.gif

Juve have NO problem scoring, but they have BIG problem defending their lead. Even with 4 goals lead i'm still in doubt dat last season Juve team can defend the lead. I hope the problem will be resolves next season

hopefully ziegler can solve our defensive woes. Our main problem is also the lack of co-ordination in defence. chiellini have been playing the sweeper role doing last-minute defence for too often. If our defensive is well organized, even if our defenders are not world class its still sufficient.

We need to practise our defence against set-pieces too. how many times we have lost/draw the game due to being scored from free kicks in the very last minute of the game?

Not world class defenders can only get you this far. Sufficient will only keep you from being relegated but not winning big trophies.... Hence the difference in classification between, poor, average, good, very good, world class players.. nod.gif

But of course for now, our main objective is to qualify for the CL. One step at a time.. so I somehow agree that our defenders with proper training and better coordination is sufficient to get us a CL place..hehe smile.gif

March is as top class player. No way going to sacrifice him. How many home grown players are we going to send out?

if we can get aguero and bastos, then its good.
if not, pls do not sign average players, juve recently being only signing average players which not good enough to challenge for title. we are juve, we are challenging every single title, not be there for the survival.

too many new players spoilt the team too. last season, there were influx of new players, a good team need continuity.

pirlo can replace aquilani. never really see both the swiss player, are they good ?
quag return could do a great partnership with matri.
iaquita and co can make ways...

lets hope conte can instill some juve spirits to the player this season

stop la with goal.com sos regarding juve transfer. you making yourself look pathetic.
90% of the transfer to juve in that site is not even logic to begin discuss with.

jusstatic, please join jfcm if you want to play football in kl. we do this at least once a month.
i'm not elaborating jfcm here. this is not advertising thread.
