If their fees are cheap, facilities adequate and the academic staff are highly competent, why not? But currently only 2 schools -UKM & UM, are recognized outside Malaysia. If you start this year or next and five years down the road when you qualify, the "better ones" will probably secure more recognition overseas and the likely ones looks like Monash and maybe UCSI.

From those classified under the second tier, I think UCSI would have a better chance, no?

QUOTE(wgy589 @ Jul 25 2010, 09:32 AM) Honestly, i just can't understand why some lowyat forumners always think that UCSI is superior than other private medical schools. What are the factors that makes you NOT understand why some lowyat forumners always think that UCSI is superior than other private medical schools?Or it is also your gut feelings only? |

QUOTE(zstan @ Jul 25 2010, 10:26 AM) because not all forummers are well to do enough like you to go to group of eight unis/ivy league/top unis in UK? what i meant was that many other private medical schools in malaysia started off about the same time as UCSI, and some even earlier, examples would be Penang Medical College, AIMST, Royal College of medicine perak, Allianze College of Medical sciences, CUCMS and Management and Science University, but why do you think UCSI is better?if u r speaking in the context of really good malaysian medical schools, i can only think of imu and monash, or maybe manipal. ucsi would be right behind them and certainly much more ahead than other medical schools which had just started only these few years. and between those 5 choices, the most affordable would certainly be ucsi. their first batch had just come out to work, compared to others who had already have graduates, time would tell whether they are reli good or bad. And i'm not well to do, in fact i wanted to study in IMU twinning programme, but my parents just couldn't afford it. This post has been edited by wgy589: Jul 25 2010, 03:52 PM |
