just switch to airplane mode then switch back on, sometimes u need to do few times.

WTF! My Maxis bill have reached RM250 for unbilled amount. The maxis people never send me any SMS to notify me whether my line have pass 500mb or not. Such a scam

I've recently bought a galaxy s from maxis about a week ago. Recently i'm experiencing a prob in which my phone couldnt connect to the internet through my maxis data plan. I've done some trouble shooting which are:
1.changing the sim card to other phone > it turned out that I can use the internet just fine with the sim card.
2.using the internet through wifi is possible
3.there's no problem when I video call others
Does anyone else have the same prob as mine stated ? And is there anyone knowledgeble here to help me solve my prob? Please help me..

Never bothered with bump charging actually. The battery life is excellent as it is.

I receive calls/sms in my pocket. and I use a case, and I put it in a pouch.
No dropped calls when calling either if I am holding it, or if it's in my pocket, using a case and in a pouch while I use a bluetooth headset.

The location thing, may have had a problem with wifi IP identification.
If I just use pure GPS location finding, it always identifies me at the right location.

Using google maps.

Inside the settings, you can select use wifi to aid location, or something of that sort.

I disabled that. And location pointing in google maps is done purely via GPS satellites. And not aided by IP address.

so far any proper way to change fonts? i tried this method from xda thread but end up stuck at boot screen and need to reflash again..sigh

yes rooted, as u see further reply on d thread, some people stuck also...inbuilt flipfont dun have interesting fonts 4 me..and when looking for more fonts, it lead to nowhere,wth

Latest firmware for Asia is out, it seems. I9008ZMJG1 as stated on samsung-firmware.webs.com - am downloading it to check if it's Froyo as claimed on the web site. Aiyo, need to backup/restore again, here we go again..

but for normal firmware we also can type chinese with google pinyin input method..

Press and hold the screen
Then "Select input method" , select Google IME.
