Bro, silver is not polished with wax eh.....sweat.gif Silver is polished with silver polish. It can also be done with baking soda

Btw, these will not be as big and heavy as mine. According to my cousin mine is about 6 grams ohmy.gif

Finally the block arrived, thanks to JIBEK.

Added on September 27, 2011, 4:29 pmEK VGA HF uni block quite limited space for putting two compression, so i have to use normal fitting with locker. zzz

hahaha.. if u have budget just go ahead. but then what wc setup are u gonna pun in that big case ??? u wudnt wanna put just h100 in there wud u?
*
Guess what. I bought my 800D and I had AMD x3 435 + H50 push pull in there. My 2 X 69x0 on stock HSF was so noisy. I thought...what a waste...and that's how my WC journey started tongue.gif

Interior doesn't look very watercooling friendly. An upsized over-glorified Antec 300 is my impression

Adding more radiators/pump pressure will reduce the "delta". Thermal equilibrium is achieved when your water hits the highest temperature = Ambient + delta. If you want a lower themal equilibrium, add a ton of radiator and water flow so that your delta is smaller and keep your ambient cool. Having 5-7 120mm is more than enough to cool down 800W of heatload.

Google

"power consumption (your pc part)"

Then just use the MAX heat that the part would generate as a guideline.

i.e. my CPU generates over 100W since it is OCed. I allocated each GPU for 300W although they usually eat up about 200+W. Pump usually sucks up about 50W.

water block nowadays already reach their limit in terms of cooling performance... good block like koolance 370, ek supreme hf, aquacomputer kurplex are very similar in their thermal performance...

the most obvious different feature among this block will be their restrictiveness... less restrictive block will contribute higher flow through whole wc system... in other words will carry the heat faster...

the xspc raystorm now have the best flow among all available block...
*
I believe it is more preferred to have higher restriction on the waterblocks than lower restriction. There were people who tested all the jet plates on EK blocks and found that the highest restriction plate (#2 I believe) delivered the best performance. Something about water having more time in the block to transfer the heat or something.

I mean the water flow
*
The pump pushes water in from the bottom, water goes all around the blocks and come back from the other end. It's a parallel connection with the in/out at the bottom compartment hidden from the rest.

Sorry for the extremely long delay. I have finally found some time to take picture of the coil

user posted image

Small = 6mm x 60mm (1.36G) (same as petra)
Big = 6mm x 80mm (2.63g) (double the size)

These are polished so they look very shinny. Small is RM20, and the big one is RM40. If anybody wants it bigger, it can be made to your specification.

Eh there's not true. Put the biggest rad on the CPU, you will do the most heavy overclocking there. GPU can withstand a ton of heat, and you won't be able to OC it too much even if you slap on huge RAD to the loop

Since you have two loops, it is easy to isolate the GPU heat from the CPU. The only reason I water cooled my GPUs is because they were the NOISIEST part in my rig. Those fans are BRUTAL during load. not much benefit was gained from OCing my GPU by going WC. Cheaper to just buy 580/590 laugh.gif

I have created a thread in garage sale for the kill coil. Feel free to order them there. Profit is slim on these stuff, it's pure silver. biggrin.gif

Sounds like you bought some snake oil. Dr. Alamak Super Silver Coil should work fine...If not, curl it up as a ring and wear it.

From my research on the net dual loop yields almost no benefit over single loop of similar capacity. Only in extreme cases would you see slight benefit. Basically it's not quite worth the costs which is why not many people do it. But in the future as CPU gets hotter (if they do get hotter) the benefit may be more visible.

Dual loop is, unfortunately, not twin turbo. It's more messy on the tubing, but easier to isolate the parts thumbup.gif

XSPC rad paint quality is the worst
*
This is correct. I have 3 XSPC rad. Also played with a swiftech rad. XSPC's paint is the WORST of all brand. biggrin.gif Just repaint them and you'd be fine. All my rads are repainted and they are significantly better than stock paint.

I strongly recomment using BOSNY paint...not sure where you can find them...look from every hardware ship

If you have opened a MAXIMUS board before you will know there won't be manufacturer mistake from the factory, so you can forget about claiming it broke when opening it laugh.gif Norazam opened two boxes so far he should know the build quality of the board brows.gif I babied my when I opened it biggrin.gif
