Your T block will be absolutely useless there. For draining the T block must be all the way at the bottom. If you put a T block there, the water will flow out from the rad once you open the fittign

Nah, with an industrial blower, you will blow everything out of the casing. There's no place for dusts to hide.

![]() Nah. 1-3 is good enough to blow out all the dust. "1" itself is probably 4-5x more pressure & cfm than a GT. I just cleaned my casing with "1" and the PC was running. This post has been edited by AlamakLor: Sep 16 2011, 06:03 PM |

Nah, XSPC H2 is a full aluminum tower, not made of steel. Consider it a Lian Li WC tower. However my experience with Lian Li/Aluminium is that it's extremely hard to avoid finger print, and also grease from permanently stuck on the casing. It's also rather noisy due to the very light weight. Everything seems to resonate the casing.

Just screw it in. No need to bother tapping it. As long as your screw is strong enough you should have no issue. I changed all my screws to stainless steel, painted black, for a hassle and rust free future

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Sep 16 2011, 07:59 AM) woo seller runs away Nah 6990 (450W) + 69x0 (300W) + 69x0 (300W) + Oced CPU (1x0W) = Dissaster waiting to happen on load. I'm even selling my UPS to get a 1500VA UPS because my APC Powerchute keep popping up with a notification telling me that my rig is drawing more power than the battery can provide on a shortage.ring up their big boss yo! alamak 6990 is so gooding... ur HX580 should be able to handle that card. or just grab that beasty AX1200, i got one extra sealed brand new of this but still thinking whether to keep it for 2nd rig or resell. I don't want Corsair PSU anymore, there's something better out there This post has been edited by AlamakLor: Sep 16 2011, 07:02 PM |

Nah it's not RM2 for sure. The cost is insignificant.
Let's forget about the PSU for now |

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Sep 16 2011, 08:27 AM) XPSC RX rad uses UNC 6-32 31.75mm screws I'll be getting a single rail psu for sure Most rad manufacturers will provide ngam2 qty of screws just one side of rad WT... quad CF! Never seen a single rail 1500W PSU so far. I think dual rail is the only choice to go 1500W/2 = 750W per rail 1st rail = 6990 (450W) + 2600K 4C/8T @ 5.0GHz (130W) = 580W 2nd rail = 6950 (300W) + 6950 (300W) = 600W pump, fans, other peripherals etc... It's usually only rotaries that may leak around the joint if you twisted them too much, or they get bent too much by the tubing. I'm very wary about using rotaries around certain areas. Initially I was gonna use a bunch of triple rotaries around the cpu but decided dual was good enough. This post has been edited by AlamakLor: Sep 16 2011, 09:46 PM |

I don't know how much is it as I never paid for it. But if you are interested you can shoot me a PM and I will find out from my cousin tomorrow.
It wont scratch the Res. It's so dense that it drops down to the bottom of the Res and would not move once it gets in. It comes in a strip and you can polish it however you want, and bend it however you want. |

I just found out that my cousin went to China and will be back in Saturday. Even though I could get the sifu to make the stuff for me while he's gone I prefer to wait till he's back so that I could get a proper pricing.
I'm not sure what sizes are you guys interested in, the one I have in there is pretty big: 4mm (width) x 1mm (thickness) x 100mm (length) which is over kill. The one being sold at Petra is probably less than half the size but I think that is more than suffice. |

PC Zone has a piece of 6990 EK block in the shelf.
Can you really get 99.9% silver solder in Jalan Pasar? You have to be careful not to get silver solder with mixed tin/lead/flux. Pure silver solder generally doesn't stick very well and requires flux to solder |

Correct me if I'm wrong but I do not think stores in jalan pasar carries pure silver solder. Most of these pure silver solder are only available from jewelry supplies store/jewelry stores them self. But if you can find pure silver solder in jalan pasar, you can definitely toss the whole thing in to be used as a kill coil

Alright, sample silver kill coil has been made
There are two sizes available: - Small: 1.36g (same weight as petra's) - Medium: 2.xg (double the size of petra's) The strips are now being polished. Will get pictures up when I get a chance. Pricing should be comparable to Petra! Whether it is polished or not is really moot because the silver will oxidize. Google it and you will find a bunch of discussion about this This post has been edited by AlamakLor: Sep 25 2011, 04:27 PM |
