But yeah, it looks like ur 8pin is a bit short. get extender or if u like a challenge and make things look nicer, extender the wires yourself and sleeve the PSU.. and then route them like how everyone suggested... FTW!!! memang chun after that...

Beware when using extension cable might cause power ripple

owikh what is the sign if power ripple?
i mean can effect psu?..stability?..psu got sound?

unstable power might damage parts.
Some may find their +3.3V dropped to +2.5v doh.gif

Nice!
Recall this SilverStone ZM1200M +12V rail can be converted from 6 to single. It is expensive though don't think Inter Asia is still carrying this model.. sweat.gif

"kopek" = i know what's the meaning of that word la...  happy.gif wakakaka

eh whats the diff between expensive pump like mcp655 or laing compare 2 cheapo pump like ek 4.0??
flow rate?? hmm.gif
one more thing masterkleer tubing good or not??
*
MCP655/D5 is more silent. U can hear small low frequency of vibration made by EK DCP 4.0.
Masterkleer is can kink easily, use Tygon for tight turns less kink

DzX is using 2x TFC XChanger 480 + Laing DDC3.2

any R3E owner here know do the stock heatsink of R3E does cool the vtt pwm ? or do the EK FB waterblock for this mobo does cool the vtt pwm ?
*
u wont know the pwm temp until Asus makes a proper internal thermal sensor for it.
putting sensor cable sit underneath the heatsink doesn't really give an accurate reading.
btw, digital pwm can withstand up to 105C, volterra 120C. without proper sensor u cant ask the mobo to auto shut down just remember do not turn off OCP for QPI/RAM=VTT or else burn ur mobo in seconds on high VTT. hmm.gif
EK does tame the temp. I think u know wc better/

lol, wanna find out if the wb does cover the vtt pwm. CPU pwm definitely covered. but wat about pwm chips for vtt... ?

juz killed my sli micro w/o cooling on the vtt pwm, it just gone while LinX  cry.gif

hopefully still got hope for rma, while temp mayb play with R3E then sell the micro if I get to RMA the board...  brows.gif

there goes my budget and salary which planned for SSD and others...  sweat.gif
*
dont get confused with cpu/vtt pwm etc..
there are only pwm and mosfet on the board and fully covered by the EK block
pwm is the big black block while mosfet are tiny thing behind it.
the one which always get burnt is called CPU Vcore PWM IC
U can RMA as long as there's no physical damage on the IC, mosfets or cracks on chip die.
if me i'd go for other board like Classy. Dont wanna mess with R3E missing sensors.

really need to cool down the qpi/dram card if want to push the dram n do 4k uncore...
if the price suit my budget sure grab it... laugh.gif
aiyoh need to change tri rad after this also...moneyflies.gif
whats is ur budget bro??
better get custom WC...more powahhh!!! thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif
*
better try 1st whether can do 4k uncore as the pwm can withstand above 100c
uncore depends on proc imc capability
i can do 4k uncore on stock cooling.
Just to let u know that heat is not the 1st enemy in doing uncore. It is the imc

where can i get a non-corrosive additives?
*
Feser Base Corrosion Blocker
Mixing ratio is 1 part blocker to 50 part coolant.
This package contains 50ml blocker that should feed 2 liters of coolant.

The difference is minimal as the whole loop will get equilibrium.
I'd say ur setup is good to go. and no worries bro ur 5850 wont be as hot as gtx480 laugh.gif

The u-shaped tube is about to kink when I set like this
Attached Image
no wonder my coolant flow sucks & no fountain effects in the res
actually can be fixed by cable tie but looks bad

So I modified abit to
Attached Image
now I can see the coolant flows smoothly

hmm.. u jz need to bleed out the remaining bubbles.

ur rad still got bubbles to bleed coz it's not fully filled yet
lay down ur casing, hold the res vertically, open the top fill port
now turn on pc
let the coolant fills the rad, the coolant in res should flow out
now top up coolant until air (bubbles) disappears
be careful while filling the coolant

My rad got bleed screw so I don't need to lay down case.

I didn't choose D5-B (speed 3 to 4) as my pump. Been using D5 vario speed 5 when bleeding much easy

but bro, u mean lay down casing (sleep pose)? then fill coolant then just pc on??
yes that was simple way..

hey where ur picture?
bro where u spamming (Pic)?

hahahaha... dont play play bro....

ok will try it... yes as i mentioned there dy... performance not 100% yet... cos got a lot bubbles inside... somemore now just realize my radiator not even full fill coolant.. really sweat.gif

your procedure is

lay down casing
fill water (vertically)
jump psu start
let it running

am i rite?
*
yes, that's the way. not necessary to fill coolant fully in ur res
just make sure coolant surface exceeds the top tube is enuf.

give u an idea on how the radiator works

but if i put a tube inside reservoir, will it solve my problem?

u can do vertical flow with X2 basic and adv only. link
don't think V2 has this kind of bottom accessories.
actually u can route the tubing thru PCI slot opening there but it's going to touch that slot. ur tube is too fat laugh.gif
