btw...need to ask everybody a question. What's a nice, quiet fan to use with the ek 240 rad? Performance is NOT the main factor but i wouldn't want to be able to fry an egg in my pc. So please recommend something which will allow me to be able to sleep at night with the pc on. Something that doesn't sound like a vacuum cleaner. No oc'ing, no benchmarking, moderate cpu usage.
Was thinking of the blue CM 90cfm or the xigmatek blue blade or the stock 12cm coolermaster fans (no led) which u get when u buy a new cm casing. but as always, sifus' and gurus' opinion are always welcome. ps/ proc is amd 955be This post has been edited by rzs77: Jul 23 2010, 06:50 AM |

Laing is the manufacturer of the pump. swiftech buy from laing and rebrand to its name eg mcp355 = laing ddc3.2, mcp655 = laing d5 |

QUOTE(subrok007 @ Jul 23 2010, 10:43 AM) Laing invented the pump and they "sell" the technology for others to make it. It's the same like ATI/nVidia cards, for example ATI designs and makes the 5870 GPU and we have all these manufacturers making cards for 5870 (today we have reference and non-reference design). Are they all the same? The concept works the same way |

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Jul 23 2010, 10:28 AM) Yeah rec'd the rad n CrystalLink tube in good condition thx! Like the one Ur currently using, 6XScythe 1,900rpm fans emmiting 37dBA per each. But since TFC X-changer is a low fpi radiator , I believe it doesn't really need a high cfm fan to work well, this kindda of radiator is designed for silent fans.Waiting for the Classy n R3E blocks n Bits fittings etc A modded TJ07 with 3pcs of rads in dual loops hehe high cfm fans push pull sure will make noise, but in return a better performance I do believe Ur 6XScythe 1,900rpm fans if attached on a high fpi radiator would be excellent , Im talking bout 3X120 radiator, push n pull. |

Swiftech makes their MCP-655's and it's clearly stated in the box that it's manufactured by Swiftech. Danger Den probably had Laing making for them. Here is the brochure for the D5 vario, Laing makes the motor and we can have different housing for different applications:So does Swiftech manufacture the MCP655 or Laing? http://www.dangerden.com/store/files/image...d5/D5_Vario.pdf |

Thanks for the clarification and correction
My MCP655 is being run with DC12V, what if it's being run with DC24V? I'm guessing the output in Watt would be incresed huh? |
