QUOTE(sam0919 @ Jun 22 2011, 05:42 PM) guys prefer EK product becoz it looks more premium / high class / yeng ? Stock availability, many choices of top/plating/base, aesthetics.or any other reason? just curious Just that quality issue is I don't want my GTX580 block to be like this: ![]() looks like a penis.. |

QUOTE(hian @ Jun 23 2011, 04:47 PM) Fan controller. Or you can use the mobo utility if there is one. Besides, fans have different cfm/pressure:noise ratio too. A lot of people recommended Gentle Typhoon, so I bought a few to try out...my opinion on that typhoon thing, man, once you use that, most probably you won't look into any other fans anymore. I use them on my RX360 rad with fan controller. Either push or pull, you can feel the strong air flow from the other side of the rad, even at half of its speed (I use the 4500rpm unit). My previous CM Excalibur, it just can't compete even running at full speed vs GT at half its speed. Strongly agree with u bro.Being the best rad mate, GT is the best performer in cfm/dBA ratio. I've never tried higher speed version, 1850rpm is too good already. Hope they will produce 140mm variance as well. |

I'm still looking for another 2pcs of GT, coz seems like I could put 12pcs for two quad rads down there... but i need to cut the fan cables shorter in order to avoid cluster

QUOTE(sam0919 @ Jul 17 2011, 11:01 AM) yup i studied the guide..the thermal pad thickness is 1mm..thermal pad did come with the block...but seems doesnt enough after i read the youtube tutorial...i try get the thermal paste first thermal paste is widely available at any shop nearby, including this TX4.Added on July 17, 2011, 11:07 ami have search the garage sale...but only 1 seller is selling this http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...entry43892274 which is located in penang @@... I'm still using the older TX2 since it's easier to apply & I bought 20pcs last time. Added on July 17, 2011, 11:23 amIf u cut the thermal pad into small square pieces according to manual that would be enough. But i prefer to cut it in long rectangular shape to paste on the adjacent chips at one shot so that it will stick firmly. QUOTE(Alexes @ Jul 29 2011, 10:55 AM) Great if BP is still come out with the same design as their existing 45 & 90 adapters then it would look nicer than Enzotech 30/60R.My Feser TFC 45R all 5pcs leaked but i dont think it's in the market already. Must avoid this TFC angle fittings. |
