yup, better go for test drive first bro. it really catch my interest and automatically flip my opinion previously on KIA cars. before i booked the car, i  had sat and test drive 2 other car (mazda2 & swift). can't beat forte.
*
of course cannot beat coz forte is designed to compete with civic and altis.
if cannot beat civic now then we'll wait for koup. the only disadvantage is 3 doors. hahaha

my colleague bought a Forte, the salesman told her that if the push start engine button gets faulty, it will need 5k to replace it. My eyes got big that time.  blink.gif
*
i think not the button. but the entire thing including ECU.
high tech come with a price. that we should expect.

but we hope the price will be reasonable when more and more forte OTR.

Hope to see more forte on the road.

Just spoke to my SA yesterday. He mentioned that the new 2.0Forte comes with sunroof and MAY also come with the 6-speed gearbox. I'll keep my fingers crossed. I definitely would want that Forte!
*
errrr.. in SG only 4 speed. if really 6 speed then everybody will be speechless!

Guys, if happen any problem and you found the solution please share with us here.

Today, i encountered incident whereby I cannot start my car. I press the brake and push the start button but nothing happen.

My reaction? Just smile cause I knew what is the main issue and I knew how to solve it.

Problem? It's just the sensor on the brake that being stuck. I touch on the sensor and pull it back. Maybe the lubricant is not enough (due to wear and tear) and now I've plan to re-apply it during next SC visit.

The significant? It's good to share your experience whether good or bad for our own benefit. If I do not know how to solve the above incident, probably I'll wasting my time to tow the car to nearest SC and wasting my money.

For those who missed out on what I'm talking about, please refer to the link below:

yes. go test drive. not underpower at all for 1.6

since you already own 1.6 before. you should upgrade your ride to 2.0
