Yes the Vios driver's side power window motor costs RM1000. The other power windows cost about RM 450 to replace not RM800. Did u check how much is the Forte power window motor replacement? U might be surprised. But how often do u change such parts anyway? I havent changed any of my power windows in the 7.5 years ive used my Vios and neither have any of my friends driving similar Vios as well.

Well its for my wife. But the problem is she's practically got her mind set on a Toyota after seeing my good experiences with them for the past few years. Its gonna be difficult for her to go back to a Kia after her bad experiences with the current Kia. We're waiting for the Hyundai Avante to come actually.

funny, when doing motor claim, price is not determine by workshop, is by adjuster.
mind u, ALL insurance company having big headache on motor claim, u think they are stupid and easily let workshop chop more on claim? it can be consider lucky if they decided to change de parts, if not, some of the parts may will be approve for knock back and use...

Fuh..frontal accident is really costly compared to rear..bumper+grill+1 headlamp already 3k..but that s nazakia price..
to play safe during warranty better repair with them..later if wan to get cheaper, get the parts ourselves then give to workshop..
can get 40-50% cheaper..

ok.. you are right, the claimable amount should be submitted by adjuster instead of letting the workshop simply whack.

when i'm driving my forte balik kg...
- i'd been beaten by saga, iswara, wira, etc (10 years old car) bcoz of they've intercooler at the front... so not feeling anything...
- i'd been beaten by civic, city, vios, latio, mazda etc bcoz of my wife sitting at passenger side & keep screaming when i performed zig zag skills using motorcycle lane... so not feeling anything...
- i'd been beaten by kancil, myvi, alza etc bcoz the driver has a 6th sense, he can overtake at sharp corners... he knows there's no car will come from the front... so not feeling anything...

opposite that, i've beated all the above bcoz
- my wife isn't the car...
- all cars above is driven by the lady, uncle, good husband who's think about family 1st...

so conclusion...
no matter how power/expensive the car you have, but if u don't have the BALLS, buy the cheap car & save your money for other things...

Went to service centre for 1k service yesterday, total dmg is Rm240.. They dont have Petro fully-sync 5w-30, so they given me Havoline fullly-sync 5w-40 by caltex which is cheaper Rm10.. = =..
Oil filter - Rm19
Drain plug washer - Rm4
Battery ring - Rm4
Fully sync 5w-40 - Rm210
Windscreen cleaner(??) - Rm5

No they didnt..i go to dealer service centre >_>...

They didnt wash, so they didnt leave any scratches..BUT left some sticky chocolate around my gear handle..

I just fixed one of mine at Glenmarie for RM60... M'sian roads are a b!tch when you're driving on these rims...

Yes we're aware of that. Its not the matter of whether ure gonna use those features or otherwise. Its about if ure buying a car for a smiliar price then might as well take 1 which has these features. If u tell me to spend another 20K for some of these features then i would say it doesnt matter. But in this case we have 2 makes of similar price with and without certain features. So the features actually do play a role in the decision making.

if you want cheap go to tek ming tyre shop in sunway, rm 30 per rim

btw..talk about tyre what is expected price to change all tyres...& when..after 2 year?
