I never run xbackup b4. why do we need xbackup? is it after a hard reset, we can get back all the softwares and files back through the xbackup?

do you guys always hard reset? I did once so far, for the rom update only =/

I'm using NovoSec SMART Filter Pro on my XDA IIs and my XDA mini... not so reliable... only work fine if set to blacklist all... not as good as the one made for symbian phones...

I use Sprite Backup...

Automatic backup on low battery
Sprite Backup proactively monitors the battery level, even when the device is turned OFF.

Daily or Weekly Scheduled Backup
Just set your backup schedule and let Sprite Backup automatically protect your data.

p/s: Sprite Backup has been chosen as an essential application by several Pocket PC manufacturers including HP, Samsung and LGE. An earlier version may be already included on the device and user may be entitled to an upgrade at discounted price...

The Bluetooth 1.2 specification enables adaptive frequency hopping...
which means that the audio quality is better in the presence of disturbance factors like WLAN or microwave ovens... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Is been sometime I didn't post anything here. Not that I have left the O2 mini gang, but life just a little more busy...

Alright, back to the topic. Recently I'm facing this problem with my mini. Lets just say now I'm on a conversation with 'A' with my mini(I've activated Calls Waiting/Holding), before my active line is drop, I receive another incoming call from 'B'.

Then my problem here started to bother me. Usually I will press the Answer key from the screen to pickup call from 'B', but not all the time I can answer 'B' call. Sometimes the screen just remain with the incoming call window even I had press answer to pick up the calls.

Beside that, even if I choose to end my call with 'A' 1st then only answer 'B' incoming call, sometimes the same problem also will occur. This will cause me missed out important calls and also will increase my phone bill since I've to call them back and worse is some of my clients thought that I purposely don't answer their calls~

Phew~ sweat.gif Anyone mini user here facing the same problem too? Btw, beside pressing the Answer key from the screen to pickup another incoming call while you are talking with somebody, is there any other way to answer the incoming call? Such as pressing the Answer key from the keypad?

Suggestions and opinions will be highly appreciated~ 10q

Hi,

I am very new to PDA. In fact, just got myself a Mini O2, which in my opinion it is a piece of fine art with high technical specifications.

I wonder how do I upload applications to the Mini O2? What kind of programs, ActiveSync 3.8 is required? And also what is the file extension that could be run on the platform? Same thing like .exe for desktop?

Hope someone can provide some guide lines.

Thanks for reading.

cskean,
sometimes I also facing this problem. the screen is similiar to hang, press anything also no responce..

u know our mini got one small problem on receiving calls. while the caller side is connected to our mini, wad he listen is "du du .. .. .. .. du du .. .. .. .." for normal hp, the receiver's ringtone already ringing, but minis are not. probably after 2 or 3 loop of "du du .. .." mini just rang. sometimes (occured once in my mini) over 5 or 6 loops just rang then the caller hang up already -.- anyone has the similar experience?

regards,
I am Kc =p

porkchop,
so u think is the mp3 ringtones make it takes longer to response ar? my ringtone over 1min, 128kbps, over 1mb.. no wonder I feel my mini takes so long to ring =p

julchin,
I think for mini we dun need high speed sd card, cos it consumes more battery and mini wont process so fast also. but high speed works while connected to pc. u decide urself ba, just my opinion, might be wrong =o

one more problem I found on minis.. why the loud / ringtone speaker is designed at the bottom? usually the touch screen is facing up while we place on table, but the speaker is facing table, the sound wont be loud. especially put on sofa or wallet, the sound extremely soft..

sometimes I put the touch screen facing down, (of cos I got the silicon casing protected, if not very pain!) the sound is ok but looks ugly. how u guys normally put it? face up or down ?

KCherng,

RM2800 wif the 1gig SD CARD sound like a good deal to me. I paid RM2630 when I got my mini with the standard 256mb SD.
