O2 support is not good compare to I-Mate. Anyway to get ROM update or any updates from I-Mate or even from HTC (original equipment manufacturer)?

If you really wan to get PDAPhone, go get o2 mini,
good price and lot of feature,
m500 good but o2mini looks cooler !! hahaha !

but choise depends on you
many of them regrets on buying o2..
some already switch to m500..
but if you really want to wait, you can't get a 100% GOOD and Value PDAPhone, trust me, no all-wondered phone, coz company can't earn money ma !!

You can backup your ROM before flashing to WM5. Just make sure it's done properly...

Anyway, I'm kinda interested with the CAR MOUNT for the Mini. Anyone knows where to get one in M'sia and how much is it?

Btw, did O2 M'sia provide the the update for the ROM version(not upgrade to WM2005) and also those solution for the bugs like bluetooth sleeping mode and so on.

Anybody call to ask them before, pls share it here.

O2 does in fact provide ROM upgrade from time to time, but they usually do it very slowly.
