i'm afraid IIi is

no SD Mem around RM350 for 1gb any brand
no Silicone case.. around Rm70

total you need to fork out another
RM400 +350 +70 = RM820

U installed the bluetooth patch? Mind to teach me where to download and how to install. I understand there are 2 patches, which one is more recommended in terms of more PROS....

Do describe a bit bout the pros and cons after installing the patch.

I also encounter the bluetooth sleeping mode recently... sad.gif

BTW, anyone knows why is the MINI sometimes shows that "No Bluetooth Device Installed In This Handheld" something like that? (Couldn't remember the exact line of it) tongue.gif

Soli, forgotten to include this into my last post.

I understand that there is a new version of Window Mobile 2005.

So anyone out there knows whether MINI users get a chance to upgrade to it or not?

Beside that, anybody care to explain the major difference between the new & old one?

A thousand thanks in advanced~

It'll depend on O2 whether or not to provide the upgrade. Who knows O2 might come out with a new version of the Mini pre-installed with the WM2005? And at the same time add more memory? biggrin.gif

Regarding the sd card. moneyflies.gif Doubt the mini can take advantage of the 80X:$: moneyflies.gif . I can play movies/music/take photos absolutely perfect with the normal 256mb card ( maybe 40X or less). Anyway recently purchase a 1gb twinmos ultra-X 60x for rm295.00 at PLY with CC - so I think the trade-in not too exciting. Got the 1gb to load more music videos and my digicam can do with higher speed cards tongue.gif

Regarding sleeping bluetooth, u ever tried disabling the mini from sleeping after x minutes? Settings > power > advance > turn off device after XX mins ? It will use more battery juice of course whistling.gif

cskean, if u wan the patch i will email u but i doubt it works..been trying out this patch for months and was discussing with pros from other forums and alot of ppl complaning about this patch....however some did claim tat it works but with side effects cry.gif I've juz hard reset my mini bcoz of this 2patch!! damm..i hate this

To activate the today screen bluetooth profile, go to Settings>Today>Plugins and tick Profile.
It is said that it will work only if the bluetooth plugin is enabled and was shown in Today screen smile.gif

Just to clear things up, there are 2 files.

1. Bluetooth today profile plugin on your today screen.
This is the one that people have been having trouble with.
http://www.mypdacafe.com/members/doc/Today_BT_profile_plugin.zip ://http://www.mypdacafe.com/members/do...ile_plugin.zip ://http://www.mypdacafe.com/members/do...ile_plugin.zip

2. The Bluetooth patch which is a patch and not a today plugin. Just click on it and install.
http://www.mypdacafe.com/members/doc/MiniBTPatch.zip

Maybe you can just try installing No. 2 and forget about No. 1

For the no bluetooth device bug..juz reseet the mini and it will work

If anyone wish to update the upgrade of bluetooth stack to version 1.0.0.3900...here's the link:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?p....0.3900_Upgrade

Enjoy.. thumbup.gif

Installed the No. 2 which is a patch and not a plugin, there is no item listed in Remove Programs, any other way to uninstall it?

Cheers...

Read in the Nanyang Chinese newspaper in Monday, stated Windows Mobile 5.0 (Windows Mobile 2005) is coming out in this August, I doubt Microsoft will launch it on time, like the previously Service Pack 2. sweat.gif

Hope can upgrade my mini to Windows Mobile 5.0 also... drool.gif
